This final generation of Ford Capri has a big fanbase in Europe for a reason, it also became very popular as it was used in most episodes of the long running British TV series ‘The Professionals’ of which this photo was taken:

It was also a quite popular and successful touring car for race tracks which makes it ideal for both Forza games

Wikipedia saying 1977. Strange. Im getting conflicting answers lol some areas saying 1974 as well.

I looked into it a bit more and found out that Del Boy’s car (main character in ‘Only Fools and Horses’) was actually switched during the creation of the TV series. The Wikipedia entry seems correct as they started off with a Capri II to begin with but very quickly swapped that for a Capri III which is now the one everybody remembers, it’s also the Capri III which was immortalized in several model cars and is the car shown in the picture you posted above.
Here is a visual reference to differentiate the three classic Ford Capri generations:

• Series 1 was a two door coupe, no hatchback (= regular boot lid), also easily distinguishable by the air inlets in front of the rear wheels
• Series 2 was the first three door hatchback coupe, as standard it came with big single headlights with indicators next to it
• Series 3 was a heavily facelifted version of the above, identifyable by twin headlights with indicators in the bumpers and also had ribbed rear lights

I love the mk3, ive owned 2 and my dads had 5! Having the 2.8i capri would be amazing! But i think in terms of mods for this gorgeous car on the game there should be body options such as…
