FMCAR is the Racing division of the popular Australian-based Forza social page Forza Motorsport Community Australia; which has an ever growing interest, currently well over 4300 followers!
After years of demand from our page followers, FMCA created a separate ‘Racing’ identity in 2016, with the community opening their racing account last October, the mighty Bathurst 1000.
Whilst the FMCA Bathurst 1000 has been a regular one-off event for many years previous, the new Racing division stepped things up making it one of the best created events possible on the Forza Motorsport title. Previously, the old race was a solo-campaign by a single driver; whereas the 2016 FMCAR Bathurst 1000 stepped this up to a co-driver event; with two drivers sharing qualifying and race stints. The dedicated safety car made only two appearances, but was parked for the last 110 laps of the race! The event was a success and immediately showcased the quality of FMCAR racing.
Opening the 2017 racing account, FMCAR started with a ten-round Supercar series, which recently finished in early June. The next feature championship is the LMGT series, replicating the popular the GTE (WEC) and GTLM (IMSA) categories across ten rounds.
With our feature series set aside, FMCAR also hosts weekly fixed-tune time trials, mid-week mini-series as well as ‘Classic Race Recreations’; where some of the famous endurance events around the world are replicated (albeit shortened of course!).
Whilst we don’t take ourselves too seriously, we are certainly heavy promoters of a clean racing atmosphere, and our racing rules and regulations encourage that approach.
