Earlier this month, we began rotating our Forza Motorsport 7 multiplayer hoppers, bringing new hoppers in and cycling out lobbies on a consistent basis. Since then we’ve heard a bunch of feedback from the community around our plans to rotate lobbies. As a result of that feedback, I wanted to announce some changes.
Going forward we will be bringing in a larger list of “evergreen” hoppers into Forza 7. This list includes a full list of class hoppers, as well as a number of “playground” hoppers that longtime Forza players have come to expect – things like drift, drag, and our games hoppers like Tag, Keep the It, etc.
Our goal is to have every class represented with its own hopper (E through X Class), and that these hoppers remain open. One important note: these new class hoppers will be replacing the current Breakout class hoppers that exist in Forza 7. As we did in Forza Motorsport 6, these new class hoppers will have some restrictions to remove certain cars from the hoppers. Some of these restricted cars include SUVs, crossovers, and most open-wheel cars, to name a few.
We’ll also be introducing Unlimited hoppers for drift, drag, and the playground games variants. In summary, here’s the list of evergreen hoppers that will be added:
· Class Hoppers (Class E through Class X, restricted)
· Unlimited Drift
· Unlimited Drift RWD
· Unlimited Drift AWD
· Unlimited Drag
· Unlimited Drag RWD
· Unlimited Drag AWD
· Unlimited Drag FWD
· Unlimited Tag (virus)
· Unlimited Keep the It
· Unlimited Pass the It
In addition to the above evergreen hoppers, we’ll be rotating a different subset of multiplayer hoppers in and out on a regular basis. We’re looking forward to these hopper changes arriving in Forza 7, and we’d love to hear what you have to say about them on Twitter or in the Forza Forums.
