FM6 crashing when loading *Can't access game*

Hey there,

Since yesterday my digital edition of Forza 6 has been crashing and freezing on the Turn 10 Studious loading screen and then going to a black screen. I have uninstalled and then re installed the game yet this is still recurring, the game will not work and I have reached a high level with many cars, so it’s really fustrating.

Has anyone got a similar problem?

Any help would be really appreciated as I cannot play the game.

Have you tried hard resetting your console

Mine has the exact same problem, freezes as soon as the ‘Turn 10 Studios’ appears then black screen… I’ve done the same methods as you to try and fix it but nothing has worked.
Let’s hope we find a solution soon as I’m annoyed that I cannot play

as i posted previously have you even tried hard resetting your console…seems to fix these types of issues

here’s another similar post from earlier today fixed this way http://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst55605_Forza-6-is-stuck-in-the-boot-screen.aspx

this method has been posted by Snowowl hundreds of times before …follow each step …don’t skip any

1 - From the Dashboard with no game running, press the X button on the front of the console until the system shuts itself down.
2 - Unplug the external power pack from the wall or at least the wall-side connector on the pack itself.
3 - Make sure all the power drains from the power pack (if the white is gone, but still “orange” you haven’t unplugged the power.
4 - Get a cool drink or some coffee.
5 - Reconnect the power source to the external power pack.
6 - Let the external pack show that “orange” light.
7 - Start the console as you normally do.
8 - Let the green screen go through the process, followed by the white Xbox symbols.
9 - Sign into Xbox Live, then check your games section to make sure nothing is actively downloading.

IF ANYTHING IS DOWNLOADING LET IT FULLY COMPLETE BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO PLAY ANYTHING. And that includes anything which says “Ready to play . . .” Don’t attempt to play until update activity has ended.

I’ve tried hard resetting my console multiple times now in the exact order you stated but I still have the issue. I’ve just tried it again now but still the same. I’ve re-installed the game as well but that didn’t work either. I don’t know what else I can try, I can’t even play the game…

Edit - Just tried deleting my local save data and launching the game whilst offline but didn’t work. Does this mean that it is a problem with the disc as other games work (and yes I have tried cleaning the disc).

The problem is that you have corrupt the “data saved” the Forza.

I had that problem. Solution: Delete all “data saved” and start again the game :frowning:

I’ve tried that but still didn’t work. I had a chat with Microsoft and they believe the disc is faulty, saying that I can get a replacement disc for it. I’m not sure whether I believe that is the solution but I hope it fixes the issue!

Sorry for the late update, I ended up doing a factory reset of my Xbox one Console and deleting the local Save data for Forza Motorsport 6. Once the game had installed I synced the cloud game save data and was able to continue from where I left off.

My advice is to transfer all your games asides the faulty one onto an external hardrive and then do a factory reset of your xbox one console. This way you don’t have to spend hours re-installing all your games

Problem is I literally have no type of external hard drive to do that. I would have thought that just deleting my local save would sort that problem and then sync it to the Cloud but I still have the freeze issue
