This is a first to me, I liked the race more than the road. The road GT3 was harder to tune, while the GT3 R felt right from the second race after setting the alignment.

It would be nice if the races had a predetermined level of difficulty or at least the option to do so. That is what makes it so motivating when you are going down a difficult path.

You can the difficulty from 1-8. 8 being the most difficult, but even moderately skilled drivers will find it easy to beat, even from starting dead last

I found the car a dream. I used sports , max tyre width aero and body kit. S800.

This isn’t accurate, at least not for all races/cars. I’d be interested to see a run from last to first on max difficulty in the first career race at Hakone with a maxed out Squadra Huracan using expert rules. I’m sure it’s possible but I don’t think an average driver could do it.

Yes okay, fair point. There have a few which have been harder than others but overall it isn’t much of a challenge for the above average player I’d say.

The fixed career events and open events tend to be fairly easy to win from last. The other monthly tours have been a lot harder in recent months (especially when you have cars which won’t reach top of class) and the fact this month’s has tyre wear kicking in at the end even on mediums makes them more difficult.

That Hakone one is probably the hardest as really you need hard tyres (mediums cost me several seconds on the last lap) and the AI is on similar pace to me even on mediums.

The 6x tyre wear makes a big difference. Still easy win in the GT3 series, especially using sports on the road car. One of the GT3 race cars can almost get to 900. But it wasn’t a nice experience at all. Artificially hard I’d say and the car was awful. Soon as you lift off the back wants swap places with the front. The left handed sweeper at spa before the chicane at the end was so hard. I couldn’t tune it out.

I did it first time with a circa 825 build starting 12th. Sebring was hard (finished 3rd) and the other races were fairly easy. Then tried again with a maxed out build and that had quite a big speed gap to the AI. Found it quite an easy car to drive (conversely I didn’t get on with the road version for the first couple of races although easy enough to win).

The first two races of the Lambo series and the VIR race with the Ferrari were the hardest in my view. I’d need an extreme amount of luck (or a much better tune than I’ve managed) to win any of those from 24th with the maxed out builds.
