This is the builders cup that i wanted! Race cars only :checkered_flag:

Another month of formula mazda??? Why? Can’t we have mx5 cup series for some diversity?

I played over430 hours and honestly due to lack of actually new tracks and cool cars, this game becomes boring for me. Please replace formula mazda with mx5 cup series :pray:t2:

The 60s cars feel like being on ice do they actually handle like that IRL?

It’s that awesomeness of the greatest ever physics model in a forza game. Don’t ya love it?

If you go watch videos of old F1 races, you’ll see that four-wheel drifts around corners were indeed the norm. I’m not saying the FM implementation is perfect, but they did drive very differently to how a lot of people expect (Grand Prix Legends was an iconic game back in the day which did a very good job of simulating the '67 season, but it was not sympathetic at all towards casual or arcade-style drivers). It seems like an oxymoron, but they require both a gentle and an aggressive touch, very much like old-school muscle cars (just with a third of the weight) - you can’t just mash the throttle or you’ll spin out, but at the same time you need to get the car slightly sideways to initiate the turn and then modulate the throttle through it in order to get the fastest time.

I’m actually loving the series, as I feel I’ve got a better handle on the physics of these cars compared to most people (experience of playing said Grand Prix Legends game over 20 years ago helps a lot).

That’s a question I’m asking too.

I play with a Series controller on PC, max difficulty, and every other race, I can get close to the asked time in practice, and often beat it, and in race it depends. But with these “GTX sportscars”, I’m always 3 to 5 whole seconds behind the targeted time in practice, and in race even if I’m like “OK, it’s the limit and I go fast”, all the AI can go 2 to 4 seconds faster per lap.

Do I miss something in those specific cars handling, or is there a problem game-related ? (I chose the Nissan Skyline one)

EDIT : just saw the post just before mine, and I think I begin to understand.

I haven’t experienced the AI being unreasonably fast in the GTX event. Challenging but fair in my view.

Are you using the Skyline stock or, if not, at what PI?

I can agree that it has improved from FM7 but i feel that some cars feel very bad no matter how you tune it

If the tours were only unlockable right off the bat Instead of being drip fed… And IF the tours stacked up and didnt get removed after a month. I can only dream.
