Hello everybody, this will be the topic where I will share my photos from FM7 (and FM6 if I get back to it)
A little about me: I started gaming a while back, mostly race games and fps and photography is more or less a irl hobby for me so although I did not spend a lot of time with this until I found this site/forum I hope to bring you some nice photos and look forward to hear from you what I can improve.
I browsed around a bit and a lot of you make really stunning pictures. Of course the detail and edit options in FM make it pretty easy to get a nice photo, but the really good ones I see on here… I hope to come close one day.
Anyway, I don;t like to tinker around too much with the options because A- I get carried away easily =) and B- I don’t really know what is what. Hoping to learn something from you guys!
Starting off with some various unedited stuff:
And some (too much edited, see what I mean) Nascar
Took the Coronet for a spin yesterday and while taking different pics came across my new favorite.
Have to say I don’t know why they put this in the game and not the more sought after GTX but hey, I was glad to see some true muscle ingame.
I did some more detail stuff yesterday (after I figured out the zoom/forzavista feature)
Apparently It’s best if I stay with daylight photos since all the indoor/night shots turn out way too dark. They look fine on the tv screen but once they’re on here… not so much. =(
I did some more with the exposure and contrast. Contrast changes everything really abrupt so I’ll have to be careful.
I set the tv to lower brightness a bit so maybe that helped as well.
Anyway, results.
At least these look like what I had in mind, so I think I’m making progress with the light issue.
(BTW; my replies take some time to get through because I’m under moderation for being new.)
Thank you! I jumped it at the Test Track and then went “under” it. Might do that again with other cars, I like the angle.

And finally (I know you guys been doing this for a while) after bashing the pause button couple of hundred times got my first flame throwing exhaust. pfew.
Taking experimental shots is key to standing out. As well as grabbing the correct settings. But you can always figure out settings… you cant figure out eyeing a shot. You either have it or you don’t. And you are well on your way to producing amazing quality shots.
I love the 4 tire shot !!! amazing to see something different !
Thank you for the nice words, much appreciated! Thanks to the comments on this topic I am slowly learning what is what with the settings and how that helps getting the pic I want.
Thank you! Took me some time but got it. Next goal is to get one while doing a donut so the flame comes through the smoke.
