FH6 car list discussion (590 cars on the unofficial list, updated 14/5/2026)

Yeah and newer ones, because what he’s saying is absolutely ridiculous

It’s only a fracture of the full list (containing 550+ cars), more will be revealed in time.

…All I’m going to say about this list is that I don’t care whether it’s finished or not - if you’re already padding it out with Forza Editions, you have problems you’re not willing to share with the class.

After the disasterclass that was Motorsport 2023, I’m going to need to see some serious effort moving forward. Stuff like that is not a good sign.

Well I’m - maybe alone - already excited with this one being for sure in the game.

I’m sure some of them will be fun, but I always felt like the Forza Editions are mostly there to inflate the car list, and just offer unique mods and upgrades as well as gameplay boosts to justify their existence. It’d be cooler if the mods and upgrades were just available on the vanilla cars, and the spot in the car list went to something else.

Launching with 550 cars is similar to what FH5 had at launch, but by the end of its lifecycle FH5 had over 900 cars. So I foresee the drip feed of previous cars again. I just hope this time there’s another way to acquire them.

A post was merged into an existing topic: FH6 car wishlists!

FH5 had 534 at launch, FH6 I presume will be another 4-5 year game, im sure by then it will be nearly 1000.

The car list we’ve seen so far looks pretty good in my estimation. We’ve seen less than 1/5th of the launch car list and it seems pretty well balanced so far. Obviously it’s a big cut from the final post-launch total of FH5 but that happens every time so I’m not worried about it at all.

And where are the modern and some old FRENCH cars?

I want to see the latest french cars models like new 208, 308, 308sw, 408, DS N4, DS N8, Clio, Renault 5 3E, Megane, C4…

With more than 550 cars at launch and only 90+ cars named yesterday, there are many cars we haven’t revealed yet. Stay tuned over the coming months as we reveal more.

Having only just remembered I actually posted I wanted it, I’m going to keep my fingers crossed that we’ll get to see a modern Prius.

Just because it happens every time, doesn’t mean it should. Some traditions are not worth keeping, and cutting cars for the heck of it never suits well with me. Although the game looks promising and most of the new cars introduced thus far are very appealing, the culling of the previous car list and the developers choosing some odd trim levels in place of other more desirable versions have been my main gripe so far.

Anyone else concerned about not seeing one Subaru in a Japanese themed racing gaming launch preview?

….and yes I’m aware there’s more cars to be announced but in addition to the obvious removal of some manufacturers/groups, there always seems to be one or two licensing slip-ups due to competition interference (or other factors obviously). Which is quite frustrating considering my 05’ Subaru WRX is an all time favourite for me.

Not concerned, but I agree, it’s slightly odd considering representation of all other major Japanese manufacturers from previous Forza titles present in the footage.

Licensing can be a fickle affair at times.

It’s possible that they have the cars ready to go, but not the licensing yet. It’s also possible that the current licensing agreement they have with Subaru prohibits the use of their vehicles in advertising.

But that doesn’t come close to covering the whole list of possible reasons why Subaru wasn’t in the trailer. Vehicles haven’t been through the update pipline (audio, visual, physics, new upgrade parts, etc) because they were just by chance late in the list. Bugtesting could have revealed an issue preventing them from being in the trailer. When the team making the trailer asked what cars were safe to put in, the response was just a quick dirty list that didn’t necessarily include every car that was safe to put in. This is just off the top of my head.

We’re not in panic territory yet. These trailers usually feature a limited manufacturer set, and the more they limit that number, the less of a headache the trailer is to make, for a variety of reasons.

Not really. Honda and Toyota got most of the screentime. Mitsubishi and Nissan appeared, but not as much as the other two. Subaru is more than likely fine. I’m more disappointed that it doesn’t appear like Suzuki, Daihatsu, or Isuzu will be in the game at launch.

2023 Acura A Spec
This version seemingly has a 1.5 motor with a CVT….. sigh…. Unless I’m shocked and it’s mated to a 2.0T motor, hopefully the 10 speed transmission. But yeah… it’s looking like it’s going to be slowwwww… with a CVT.:cry:

I’ve watched the Developer Direct footage again and created my list of cars spotted/revealed so far. You can find it in the first post.

There are 5 cars missing on the official list: the 2021 Mercedes-AMG GT Black Series, 1995 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo III, 1994 Nissan Fairlady Z, 1982 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.3, and 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser (second cover car).

Let me know if I missed or mixed anything
