To make this more than just a candidate for being moved to the Car Wish List thread:
I think it could make the barn finds more interesting if the restoration process involved some simple side quests instead of just being on an odd timer.

To add to what Ti said, I also hope barn finds are more involved, especially with that gift car system dropping giving us a simple, straightforward barn find system.
Making the included barn finds “more of the same” seems a little wasteful of an opportunity. Won’t be a huge gaffe or a major negative of they haven’t changed, but it would definitely be neat and appreciated if they have.

i feel like atleast 1 barn find will be a toyota. but yh i absolutely agree that side quests should be involved in restoring ur barn find
I wouldn’t mind if Barn Finds had you locate additional parts to complete the rebuilds.

The barn finds in Horizon should be cars that speak to Mexico’s unique car culture.
Which would be what, exactly? Mexico isn’t renowned for its own marques in the same way the UK, Australia, Italy, France, and America are.
They may not have their own marques but they have tons of history with Carrera Panamericana and Baja Rally.
What if during the restoration, in order to get a rare part or two, you had to do a street race with the only guy/girl in Mexico that has one to win it? Might make for a few fun side missions.
