For anyone that’s played the original Forza Horizon, Does anyone remember the 1000 Club, Where each individual car had a set of 6 tasks that you could do to earn gold medals? Most of the tasks weren’t all that hard(except for the timed tasks) so that they could be completed without too much frustration, It didn’t give you anything except a medal for each task that you completed, But it was something you could do on the side, It’s sorta like the weekly Forzathon events where you’ve got the 4 events that you have to do each week to get Forzathon points,
But instead of it being for say “Retro supercars” where you can use any of the Retro supercars, It was different for each and every car, And it wasn’t a weekly thing where you had a set amount of time to complete the tasks, It was one of those things that you could take your time on, You could get a new car and do all of the tasks at once, Or you could do only some of them and then come back whenever you wanted to to finish the rest of them, You could spend hours of game play just going for the gold, And that was with just the amount of cars that were in the game back then, Could you imagine how much time you could spend doing the tasks if they were to bring back the 1000 Club for FH4?
I think it would have been more interesting than the current skill points and perks. When we first heard about the skill trees back before launch, I was hoping at the time that each car would have a 1000 club type laundry list of simple specific things to do to unlock each of its perks.
Yes it was a big challenge but a lot of fun. Had to have 3 play throughs of the game by using console saves, USB saves and gifting to get max credits to get all cars, except 1 or 2. Last time I looked I was around 50-60 on the 1000 Club Leaderboard.
Yes I remember that. It also gave you an incentive to drive each and every car in the game. Great fun
I was able to get all the in game cars(started playing to late to get any of the unicorn cars) So I was able to spend A LOT! of hours just going for the gold,
It’s called Lego in H4
Yes it was great fun. I went back to FH1 a few months ago and found I had accumulated enough Forza Rewards payments to buy the last two cars I needed to complete it. Great music too.
