Same, im on series x and its annoying, not only does it do the cutscene but each time I check the seasonal events Hailie (I think thats her name) gives me a speech about how the weather has cleared up and pops all the events onto my map

As with obviously everybody else here winter season introduction is now showing every single time on game startup. Again very good game testing. It is a mystery to me how that could be missed. Probably we are the only ones (including PG) who are still playing FH5.
The Festival Playlist points are (luckily!) fully kept every time - so no problem here. Also no crashes - I am really grateful!
Furthermore something what I did not read in the forum yet:
From this season now on the first game startup of a day (after Festival Playlist introduction) there is a barn find gift waiting in the barn near to the Horizon Festival (which is my home and where I am at game start - so the nearest barn to that). But there is no message showing which normally announces it. Just the barn icon is changed to the gift icon and when you drive there, you get the car like normal.
As of course I always gift them on we all get faster to the Secret Santa because of that!

This is also happening with me, I don’t experience crashing(PC so unsure if that’s helping) but the cutscene replays every time I load, quite annoying

The First one you linked is from March 26th so I don’t consider it to be the same problem.

Interesting that this issue has appeared twice in several months with the exact same season.
This Post is from the 26th of March so it’s not about the current Winter issues people are reporting for December of 2023.

Yeah, I originally posted this and it was from months ago - it was more to do with the incessant ‘slamming down on the map’ thing, which is just a general issue and isn’t really necessary as the Festival Playlist can very easily be found in the game’s menu. The introduction every week is just a generally annoying nuisance that gets in the way.
However, unconnected to this, I have also been having the Series 28 ‘Winter Wonderland’ problems, too (the game is now rendered completely unplayable for me because of continual crashes), which I posted about in another thread elsewhere.

I haven’t noticed the ‘false seasonal’ information coming up lately, so I think that got fixed, but the introduction to the festival playlist every single week is annoying and gets in the way of just wanting to hop into the game. It’s not needed IMHO.
This is separate to the various Season 28 Winter Wonderland problems, though, posted about in other threads.

It’s quite irritating that every time I jump on. The season loads. And I do mean every time. Whether by restart or quick resume. It’s the most annoying thing about this update. Apart from the crashing which is as bad. We can’t wait for an entire month for it to be fixed, and then expectedly develop a new issue. If the patch or update is ready or tested. Do not release. We are not so desperate that we would choose to play a game with irritating issues, instead of waiting for a proper fix. The photos below were screenshot less than 1 minute apart. It loaded summer and then loaded winter after.

I just wanted to clearly link all such similar topics together and forgot to add “partially” here (now corrected).
Nevertheless I think they all belong together - even if the first occurrence was already months ago. Let me explain: Back then this was the first time ever (since game launch) that the season introduction was playing at all for me. Since then never again until now - and now always.
