That downright would be annoying.

It is one of the reasons i like to do multiple Trial runs.

On average i’d say 9 out of 10 are won when i do them.

Usually 2 races and that’s it scenario.

Yea this is the the fist time in 3 mouth i have to spend 30 minutes on if

Thank you for that explained information. I’ll share the tune with my friends. But I think it’s too much power n weight. Well I need to try this. It feels exciting.

Only done this week’s twice but saw it myself, seeing as my post last night was already long enough I didn’t add what happened on Tierra in the 2nd race.

Started 5th out of the humans, AMG GTR user drove right across blocking me as I was passing the humans on launch, then Vanquish guy corner bombed me at the first left as I was turning in, clearly intentional as it was obvious from the impact they’d made no attempt to brake.

But regardless I still ended up a mile in front, me at 650 and those two at 600 (further proof both did those things to me intentionally I think if they can drive well enough to get ahead of every AI in both races), was going to be an 1850-1800 win for the team as the other 3 were all on 0pts.

But since I already had the 10pts I thought I’d give that lot what they deserved, got up to before the finish line, spun the car around and parked on the grass facing the other way so those two would see me as they were about to finish, then quit when I was sure the team had lost.

Not proud of it and they may still have won the Trial in the 3rd race but I’ve always believed players like those two along with 0pt’ers deserve to get nothing and it was a rare occasion where I was able to be the decisive factor in it, all it requires to not be any of those 3 things is a modicum of common sense.

Note that the AM One-77 will not be one of my go-to S1 cars. It won’t even be one of my first S1 Super GT choices. There are in fact no Super GTs among my S1 favourites. The One-77 is a viable alternative to mix things up for fun, however.

As implied in my first post, this tune was made out of curiosity, and to test something different. I agree that it is too heavy. I could have skipped the roll cage, and not max out the rim size to keep the weight around 1450-1460 kg. Cage + minimum tyre wall height can sometimes, but not always, give you a more responsive car. The chassis setup can be a bit too funky for most people’s taste. The dampers have a fairly low bump setting for a road car, and a much more aggressive (normal?) rebound. As for the spring rates, they are about as stiff as I dare set them without losing too much road contact over short, sharp bumps. I could have gone for max rear wing, but the top speed will go below 320kmh/200mph. I’d like a mediocre S1 to have a top speed of at least around 340 kmh to consider it usable for both track and sprints. I could have gone for slick tyres and less power, like RcR Striker (130 223 650), which is the tune I think @TheGillesMuller used, but then I’m not sure that the poppy-bangy turbo would have fit within the PI limit. You’ve of course got to make the most annoying car you can!

The team in my initial post wasn’t very good, except for Bloodpiece who is quite likely a better driver than I am. The rest of the team lost us the race at Tierra Próspera, and almost cost us Los Jardines too. Bloodpiece got screwed by the starting position lottery in every race, and by the other players as well. If he had started in front of me I’m not so sure that I would have been best human in all three races.

Racing with someone like that is what makes the game fun for me. He (?) had the chance to brute force his way past me at Tierra Próspera after methodically inching closer to me, and a couple of sloppy corners of mine, but he chose clean racing instead! Sadly, he got properly screwed in the last race. While I managed to sneak past the other “superstars” and the AI without much effort, he got knocked out of a checkpoint. That almost cost us the race.

So haven’t really been on much recently, unfortunately dealing with some heavy issues life decided to throw at me, but thought some FH5 time might be good “therapy”. As such, couldn’t resist dressing out the weekly challenge Exige with the classic Lotus colors for anyone interested.
As always, thanks to anyone who decides to check it out, it’s appreciated & hope you like it.
Hope everyone is doing well as we head into the holidays.

Yeah, i did something similar in one. On Estadio, started last, and right about at the start line, one “person” decided to wind up and drive me 30 meters into the grass. Had to come to a stop to make the checkpoint. I came back and won, but everyone on the team either tried to give me a shot or were busy giving someone else a shot when i got there. Won that one by 1850-1800.

At Tierra, for the first 90 degree left, i did the stay-right-almost-come-to-a-stop thing to let the corner bombers miss, and the entire team piled into the wall at over 100 mph. I checked out, the team lost.

So we get to the 3rd race, Los Jardines, and Im the only reason we’re even there. At the start, i stayed to the outside, because better the wall than the checkpoint, and one “person” made it their mission to get me into the wall 3 different time in the first series of turns …

… so what i ended up doing was taking the lead and then holding up the first 3 drivatars so the team could see the front by the last turn. What they saw was me pull off to the side and change a close win to a loss.

It takes a lot to get me to quit specifically to troll. That trial was a lot though.

Finding someone trying to race clean is about my favorite thing. I did see maybe a handful in the 150+ teammates i had. There was one the stood out but i dont remember the name … at Tierra. He was ahead through the middle part of a lap and i was on him but didnt try to pass until we got on that mostly straight part that leads into the two lefts. I pulled to the outside going into the left … thinking there was no way that was going to work … but we both got through both lefts changing places but without losing much speed. Im not sure how it happened since i was in driver cam, but im sure it was good stuff. He had to have made a point to hold the inside line and sacrifice his entry speed into the second, but he still came out of it connected to me.

If that happened within the last few trials i did instead of the first few, i probably would have came in here less salty.

How long did it take you to do it

Quite a bit of the vinyl work I already had from a previous design that I was able to utilize, as well as existing logos I’ve made, but still took me a while to make the updates for that latest design for how I wanted it. Felt like it turned out pretty well. Thanks for checking it out :+1:t2:
