Horizon Open - I hope that whole shambles gets dropped from FH6. It’s absolute crud. The majority of the time you get slung into the middle an event and whilst waiting for the next race, you have no way of knowing anything about it whilst the players inside already do. No clue what race types you’ll be competing in, No idea what tracks will be involved, No idea what car class / type is required - a complete shambles and a ridiculous idea. At least the Custom ones give you the option to choose car class / type and race type so you can pick a possible car option beforehand even if you don’t know what tracks will be getting used. They should at least let the custom ones be an option all the time instead of limiting certain playlists to having to pick a standard open event.

Custom open racing did however work for this playlist but you’re right it doesn’t always.

Are you still gonna provide tunes after FH6 launch?

I think Horizon Open is in there, didn’t see the pane for Custom so it appears to have been dropped. I can’t remember if I saw it on a screenshot on here or someone’s review vid but that’s what I saw. Maybe it’ll be added later like it was on FH5, I dunno.

Custom deserves to be there and the most populated and its pane should be the first you arrive on when you select online racing.

Yeah - I did try it out just in case and it worked.

They used to have a strict rule about the two - if it didn’t say Horizon Open Custom Event on the playlist then it had to be a free-for-all (and vice-versa) but I guess everything’s been dropped now as they think more on the FH6 stuff with only a week to go till pre-launch.

Shame about the Forums being dropped though. the other forums that we’re gonna be forced to use now are just crud as well.

Pity they appear to have added Open without Custom.

Agreed that Custom should be there and the main one since it’s the only one that actually lets you have some sort of choice and a plan before you go in. Free-For-All is just a nightmare as you’re stuck with whoever is running the events and you have no idea what’s going to be required in those events until you get there and by then you’ve no time to work out what you need to use.
