I’m with you on that Coast City Circuit EventLab. No offense to the creator, but having multiple hairpins tighter than your standard car’s minimum turning radius was…not fun.

I love this tune, but it’s pretty loose, no aero so not the best on circuits

It made those multiple hairpins a bit more fun, seems like a good technical build.

Great welcome back from the game

Griffith the only good thing about this attempt, overtook all the AI on Jungle and Granjas before even the 1st corner and all but 1 on Carretera before taking that one on the 2nd corner, 718 guy binned it for the team at some point as they were scoring I think 200 points on Jungle just before I finished only to end up on zero, even just 100 would have won it for us.

Still a very weak overall team this time around but thankfully here I had another good driver in with me in the Eagle, I think it would have been very close between us if they’d used a strong car, Eagle’s actually pretty good in general but topping out in the low 170’s at best really hampers it on the freeway of Carretera and beginning of Jungle, they done well to get the 600 on Carretera.

Griffith tune by ShaggyScroll660 and SLK tune by Saeenu.

I mean sure, but this track barely even had enough room to do that.

With you… no real track would be that masochistic… or is it sadistic?.. whatever… It kinda felt like I was in a parking garage… My shifter broke, so I’m using paddles, and I kept shifting into reverse on that first bit… frustrating to say the least.

I’ve worked one some Alfas during the last days. One can be used for the Trial and the other for the Super Saloon Championship.

SC: Design 129 954 568 - Tune 670 091 029 (A 800)

I’ve also uploaded S1 900 tunes for both of them in case somebody is interested.

I’ve also done an 8C. The design idea was shamelessly stolen from a GT7 Instagram post that I came across.

it worked anyway?

did think of trying one of those two to see anyway but need to minimise time

oh, maybe you mean that it got downloaded a lot despite not being relevant, yes?

yeah, people still used it for something, who knows what

Just done the Dancing Gopher Eventlab.
Props to the designer; it’s one of the most fun Eventlabs I’ve seen, an absolute blast to drive.
It’s such a pity FH5 doesn’t allow us to use these kinds of routes in other races.

This week’s trial was pretty useful to me. I hadnt got to building most of this group of cars yet, and it turned out that a lot of them are competitive with each other in A class street races. There was a lot of good choices and i didnt get to them all.

I drove a TVR Griffith on drag tires, a bunch of 2019 Z4s, many 2008 Z4s (on race tires, on rally tires with spoiler, on rally tires without a spoiler), an Alpine with AWD on rally tires, a 2019 Porsche Carrera, a RWD Eagle Sppedster, and a whole bunch of Mercedes SLK builds.

Every single one of those cars, and every build I tried, managed to finish Carretera at least in the 2:32s.

I thought that was crazy. The 08 Z4 in particular had drastically different builds but each one threw up at least 2:32 consistently. Race tires, rally tires, spoiler, getting bumped around at the start … at least 2:32.

My favorite of the week was an SLK … with sport chassis reinforcement. Same powertrain as Saeenu’s shared tune, but 65 pounds heavier. It was a good investment, though. Im here to hype up chassis reinforcement and rollcages in some instances. I think its a choice that gets overlooked or scoffed at. In the first trial with it, i got interfered with pretty heavily and did a 2:32 at Carretera in the first, then did this 2:08 at Jungle Descent.

I was working on a PB of 2:30.8 at Carretera and got more than a second ahead of that pace a few times before catching some guardrail on the freeway exit, so i knew a sub 2:30 time in an SLK was possible but I never got there. This 2:30.0 was the closest i got. (Edit: Doh! Wrong pic)

I ran high 2:30s and 2:09s in SLKs without the chassis reinforcement, but with it, i was faster. And braver. It felt good before, but the stiffer car was full send about all the time. I wasnt a fan of the little SLK in real life, but i love this thing in game.

I didnt get to all the choices i wanted to though, and i didnt get to the ideal build of all the cars i tried, im sure. Ran out of time.

The RWD Eagle Speedster i tried that was getting 2:32s and 2:10s was an old build for a Street Race requiring a little more handling. It had race weight reduction, handling to spare, and a top speed of 192 mph (192 mph is the lowest of any car i used). But even though its RWD on rally tires, the power to weight ratio gives it great acceleration. The things a rocket. Im guessing if I trade the entire race weight reduction for power, it would still handle and accelerate good enough for these two power skewed street races and have a higher top speed.

Oh yeah, and I really liked that Powerplant Surge Eventlab. I liked the look, I liked how Hot Wheels pieces were used even though i hate Hot Wheels, and i thought it was a very raceable circuit. Good stuff.

Legend has it i started writing this novel last Thursday. By the way, if anyone ever wants any build or tune details … unlocked tunes of what im using … just ask. I think i only shared 2 in game.

lost trail second time. by 50 points. a dnf red card…
god i hate trails so much.

This game is just broken. Thought I’d run another trial just for a bit of fun and to see if I can help others through. Third race with only one teammate, a teammate who looks like will need a bit of help but was contributing, in the lead and just have to not crash. I can manage it but the game can’t, at about 50% of the race gone I’m straight to the Xbox home screen.
