A Ferrari 458 Spider based Tribute to Sergio Pininfarina who was the Chairman of the company before passing away in 2012.

The Car is roughly 150kg (330lbs) lighter than the 458 Spider but retains the same 7-Speed Transmission and 570hp 4.5L V8 Engine connected to the Rear Wheels.

Due to the modifications needed to turn it into a Windowless Barchetta the Car features enhanced structural rigidity and additional rear downforce leading to more favourable handling characteristics.

0-100kph is achieved in an estimated 3.4s with a Top Speed in excess of 320kph (200mph).

Pininfarina was willing to build the car for up to 6 interested customers but pricing started at €3,000,000 ($3,900,000) at the time.

Production models would also have a Windscreen to compare with Road Regulations alongside various other changes to the aesthetics and internal amenities.

6 did end up being built and sold almost immediately but were badged as the Ferrari Sergio with fairly significant aesthetic changes which in my opinion ruin the beauty of the original.

The Production Model also switched to using the Naturally Aspirated 4.5L V8 from the 458 Speciale which produced around 600hp and thus giving the car even better acceleration with a 0-100kph of only 3s.
