As i was racing in game during a extreme track toys event i came up against a Ferrari 599XX, which i didnt even realise they had in game, so i go to the autoshow, no 599xx, i go to the auction house and you can SEARCH for the 599xx but noone has it. Does anyone actually have the car? Or know how to get it? Im guessing its incredibly rare
The differences between the 599XX and the 599XX Evoluzione are huge, so I don’t think there’ll be a option for that or any major upgrades (areo included) other than Drivetrain Swap and maybe wider tires, I think we may have another Gymkhana Focus on our hands, still, the 599XX was my go-to super car in Horizon 1, super pleased its making a full HD return, maybe Turn 10 will bring back other models from the 360-gen forza games (cough, cough, Shelby 1000, cough, cough)
Unfortunately it seems the 599xx has the identical sound of the fxx k in the game I also youtubed both of them and while they do sound similar they don’t sound identical. Also in the videos they both have much deeper exhaust sound than in the game and produce a lot of feedback that sounds amazing which is basically non-existent in the game. I don’t know where they get the sounds from for these 2 particular cars but they definitely don’t sample it from the real life cars or they do and just ruin the natural sound for some reason? I don’t know.
The funny thing is that the 599XX sounds better in Horizon 1 than it does in Horizon 3. I was hoping PG would just import the sound samples from FH1 into FH3 with this new RARE FORZATHON CAR. Heh heh, nope.
Go on YouTube and search up 599XX videos. Marchettino has one, as do NM2255 and 19Bozzy92 (they’re all recorded at Monza). Compare the sound of the 599XX’s in those with an FXX K (NM2255 has a few videos of those). The resemblance is so minute. So much in fact that they sound like they have different engines in real life… but the 599XX and FXX K both have 6.3L V12’s in FH3.
A lot of these performance cars really don’t have the raspy sort of scream to them like they did in the older games. For example driving the 599XX in FM4 is an incredible experience because of how angry and aggressive the car sounds, but since FM5 cars seem to have a much toned down sound to them and T10 seem to be copy and pasting the sounds. Cars like the Koenigsegg One:1 and some of the V12 cars seem to have the exact same engine sound as their predecessor car. I was very disappointed with the sound of the One:1 when it came out on FM6 as it didn’t have the grunty sound it should have and instead got pasted the one from the Agera. Sadly though it seems this is yet another case of T10 taking shortcuts and to be honest I’d rather have the sounds from the last gen games for some cars, this being one of them. I’m also a little curious if the car performs as well as it should do so I’m currently doing some tests to find out if it’s much slower than that of the FM4 version.
Hey guys, I hope you can help me…
I got the 599XX in the Forzathon event and went over to the auction house to see how much it is worth. I was surprised to see people listing the car with starting bids over 3M and buy out prices of up to 20M, but when I try to set up an auction for my own 599XX, I can only set the starting bid and buy out price to 1M… What am I doing wrong??
Whats the flashing light on the left rear side for?
I know in some race and formula cars you have flashing brake light if the driver is off throttle. Is this something similar? I did crash the car too, are they hazards heh
