With Update 21, Featured Multiplayer has been reorganized, incorporating player feedback, with the goal of providing players with even more event variety. The ‘Open Events’ category now includes all Open Class Series permanently available.

R Class Series

I pretty much only play S and R class nowadays.

I do think R would massively benefit from the M8B (and probably the Chapparal and Renault F1) being banned. They are just a bit too overpowered. If you removed them from R, there would still be a few cars that would dominate but the second tier would have more chance of competing.
