I remember I wanted XJR-15 as a barn find in 4 and in 5 it became one. Which kind of does go along with the whole it takes time to blah de blah.

Bug fixes are pinned in the Troubleshooting Hub / FH5 Closed Issues section of the forums and at Forza Support. An extended note included in the Release Notes:
Multiplayer
- Fixed an issue with weather management in Multiplayer races where weather conditions in certain conditions were not consistent between players
- Developerâs Note:
"One of the most important things for any competitive experience is fairness. Forza Horizon has an exceptionally high skill ceiling, which means that player skill and interaction with the game is what ultimately determines success or failure, not an RNG attribute system. For this to work, competitive conditions must be as equal as possible while still allowing for tactical decisions (like your car and tune) and leaving space for player skill (like how well you handle a given corner).
Working together with members of the Competitive Community, we recently identified several issues with online multiplayer that were creating uneven competitive conditions.
These proved to be related to how the game handled the weather simulation in certain online contexts. This led to situations where certain players would have warmer conditions at the start of the race (which impacted tire temperature at the all-important moment of race start). Weâve resolved this by changing the point at which the physics simulation resets tire temperature, and harmonizing what temperature it resets to.
We were also able to identify situations where players engaging in long race events could experience weather desynchronization. The Competitive Community was âworking aroundâ this by only racing at specific times and in specific weather conditions where this was unlikely to occur. With support from the competitive community, we identified an issue where every playerâs game would start to run its own version of the weather simulation. Since our weather model has a deterministic phase and a non-deterministic phase this could result in longer races seeing situations where one player had clear weather while another player in the same race was driving in pouring rain. This was because once the deterministic phase was complete, local games would start to randomize their weather in some conditions. We resolved this issue by clamping the weather simulation when the deterministic phase completes, ensuring that everyone will have consistent weather across the entire race.
All of these issues resulted in situations where cool experiences (like racing at night, or endurance races in heavy weather) were not fair experiences from a competitive standpoint. Weâve addressed these issues with the fixes I explained above, giving competitive players the consistent conditions they need to take advantage of everything Forza Horizon 5 has to offer.
Thank you to everyone in the various communities who spoke with me about this, and provided all the excellent data we used to track down what was actually going on. See you in Mexico!

Well, that, and I think, in between releases, whoever scans the models got access to Jaguarâs secret car vault since the TWR XJ220 and the XJ13 soon followed after.
Was there any mention when today the new Cupras are supposed to be send to the inbox?
I think they said on the livestream from the 24th, so tomorrow.
Just watched a part of the stream from yesterday. Yeah it says 24th in the banner. They just said âtomorrowâ yesterday so I got a bit confused.
It mentions âmotor and battery swap for ev hummer and tavascanâ seems odd that theyd mention that in the list unless it was something unique like you could swap from ev to petrol?
Then again they often include new things in these lists- 3 new body kits (but one is for a vehicle being added in this season, 16 new overlanding mods (4 of which are one vehicles in this playlist). Could just be an attempt to pad out the notes to make the update look bigger than it is
Hmm, Iâd be guessing âmotor and battery swapâ in this case would mean a different EV motor and (probably) bigger battery for the power to it.
How exciting⌠sounds like what every four year oldsâ dad did with their Power Wheels growing up.
I always thought these EVs sounded more like dentist drills.
Definitely looking forward to the '86 F-150 and '72 K10, another great update!
Thatâs one of a big banger update here. I love to take a lot of Daytime photos!!! Now I donât have to wait for the time of day to change anymore!!!
Now we got 3 âNew-To-Forza carsâ updates in a row, I guess this changes everything in FH5 after Mike Brown left.
But I do have one concern about the update:
(crying turbo diesel noises)
Yâall didnât give the new Outlanding parts to Toyotas Hilux, Tacoma, and Tundra. The 3 Toyota pickups didnât receive it unfortunatelyâŚ
Iâm not sure how much to credit to the parting of the ways as most if not all of this ânewâ stuff would have been in the pipe for months, if not longer, I expect.
âŚand, well, for one : Accolade "Lights, Camera⌠" bug⌠or at the very least poor or no proof reading of the notes before publishing and letting the update out in the world, or the most basic of testing for that matter. So, yeah, I dunno, seems like a lot of the same old same old.
Precisely. Plus, one thing a lot of people seem to be overlooking is that a lot of cars cut from Horizon 3 and 4 that should never have been cut in the first place are now at a pretty stronger risk of never returning (at least in Horizon 5). I mean, I want the Festival Playlist to only include new content too, but Playground Games (whether it was Mike Brown or someone else) has put us in a difficult position of having to choose between wanting new content and wanting old content back.
I guess Iâm pro-wanting new content, but the larger issue is just this game in general. Playground Games wasted and squandered every possible chance theyâve had to elevate this game, perhaps even more so than they did with Horizon 4. Theyâve burned up so much goodwill and wandered around (mostly) aimlessly so much that even the last two updates, which arguably have been the best the gameâs had since this time last year, still didnât quite feel like enough. And of course, like a fiend begging for more and more powerful stuff, PGGâs right back on the Off-Road corner again, waiting on the Donut Media man to pay another visit. You know, because the first time went so well.
Believe me, Iâve already prepared myself for the disappointment of getting another 6 cars I didnât want.
Really, the only seemingly consistent theme of Forza Horizon 5 is that you can get one or two updates before PGGâs latent desire to be Codemasters and make Dirt Rally video games kicks in and months are wasted on that pursuit. Itâs gotten so bad that I would not be negatively affected in the slightest if the discipline in general never made another appearance in any Forza game, and possibly any future game period.
For the record, implementing additions to deepen the rally experience != âlatent desire to be Codemasters and make Dirt Rally video gamesâ
Itâs like saying the developers of Gravel had a âlatent desire to be Codemasters and make Dirt Rally video gamesâ, because they included Rally Cars in an off-road game
âImprovements made for some event labs which could crash while editingâ
Iâm downloading this update currently, so fingers crossed I can edit some of my eventlabs with carpark props.
Edit - it still doesnât load.
