Will there be drive to race tracks that can be interacted with. As in drive to the garage/pits then onto the actual track and race. Not “starting an event” but just drive to a track and drive on it. There could be various types, small oval, a dirt track, a drag strip, a road course. Just something interactive with the map.
Will there be drive to home spaces or storefronts? Something that you can level up going from a say a car port having a full speed shop where friends can drive to your “storefront” on the map. Maybe have some of your work on display. Some thing a little more personal than the festival that could be a separate progression.
Is there a chance that AWD will not be the ONLY way to be fast? I really miss RWD being competitive in Horizon.
Hey guys just a quick update. While we can’t go into details it looks like we are going to at least a few different Microsoft events at/around E3 so we think we have a pretty good shot at an interview.
Also, if we do get the interview we’re thinking that we should ask about “Drone Mode” and if there are any improvements/additions to it.
We kind of got the exclusive on the announcement of Drone Mode for Horizon 3 so we thought we would ask about that again as something of a follow up.
What say you all? Are you curious to know if there will be any changes or improvements to drone mode? If so, like this post!
How big will the map be in comparison to previous forza horizon games ?
In Forza Horizon 3, higher status tuners and painters had the ability to put significantly higher buyout prices on cars in the auction house. This has caused numerous complaints about legend painters controlling the “rare car” market with exorbitant prices. Will this be changed in Forza Horizon 4’s auction house?
This is pretty much the last full week before E3 kicks off! If you haven’t submitted a question or liked a question yet, now is the time!
Thanks to everyone who has participated so far by submitting or liking a question!
Is there a full custom route editor ie placing your own check points wherever on the map?
How many miles of paved roads will there be?
Are there more “technical roads” reminiscent of Fujimi Kaido, Alfami Coast long, and Camino Viejo Extreme?
Are there more visual and tuning mods ie: brake caliper colors, more custom aero parts, offset adjustment, boost tuning?
Some on the business side, rather than features:
What is your vision for either keeping Playground Games independent, or becoming a Microsoft owned studio, and the relationship with Turn 10?
Where is the balance between brand consistency (Horizon features, theme, style) to retain current players, vs. innovation to grow the player base?
How much do user wishlists drive content, versus creative director interest in seeing through their own vision?
Are there any plans for related-but-different mobile versions of the game? (ex. Miami Street’s different control style, 2.5D like Assassin’s Creed China Chronicles)
Are there plans for real-world connected events, like #ForzaFuel road trips or presence at music festivals?
Will the drivatars be affected by damage as well as the player ie when simulation damage is turned on the drivatar will also experience race costing damage? A perfect example is the cross county events that force you to make car totaling jumps, yet the drivatars keep driving like nothing happens.
Will drones be visible to other players? (e.g. one player deploys their drone via Drone Mode, and their friend can see it move around)
Can players disable ANNA from being able to set routes automatically at random intervals in single player?
Volkswagen? If so, what models?
