I wouldn’t call it cheating, but I do think it goes against the spirit of the event.
Really though at the end of the day I don’t blame the people, I blame PGG for forcing me to participate in an online event. Randoms will always find a way to ruin everything. That’s the law of the internet. Trying to argue with them is like trying to argue with the weather.
They could have just forced you to use a rental car, couldn’t have been too difficult.
I’ve n it tried tuning on these races yet, just used rentals. I suppose if tuning is limited to the ‘stock options’ you get when buting a acar, and tyre pressure it would be ok.
It’s a bit expoity if you can do what ever tuning/engine upgrades you want as long as the car rating doesnt go over the stock performance number for the car.
The idea is to win the events so i couldnt careless if being allowed to tweak the tuning makes it easier for some players to beat the ai, its a team event so anything that helps the team win is ok with me.
