Hey guys I’m using the g920 but also the controller. it seems no matter what I do with my tune or Tires or anything I just get a lot of understeer while sideways. It’s not doing anything to me but just looks wrong when ya drifting and have smoke coming from the front tires is there a way to fix it or just the game
Unfortunately, there’s no way to setup tunes without understeer present since the game doesn’t have angle kits to enable extreme steering degrees.
However, the best ways I’ve found to minimize understeer is to make the front tires as wide as possible, do all the weight reduction to make it as light as possible, and slightly decrease front tire pressure to about 27 psi at the maximum to ensure it will be near 30 psi when hot.
Also, if you’re using Japanese cars, try to not use the 5.7L V8 because that LS is super heavy and requires much more suspension tuning. Stick with the stock motors as best you can, and go for forced induction before a swap.
If understeer is occurring to the point that it affects how your driving this is what I would suggest:
-Adjust the braking force to make it more towards the rear of the car.
-Try messing with the springs so that the back end of the car squats down when your accelerating.
-Also try adjusting the differential settings as it controls how fast the wheels spin under both acceleration and deceleration.
Adjust the Diff to 100, then work yu way down depending on you driver skill.
Also let us know your spring settings and camber???
