I never purchased the DLC back when it was available on the marketplace. Is there any way to get it now?
When FM4 went end of life, I hadn’t bought the DLC. I wanted to get it for the game and for the rewards points. I manage to buy some of the DLC online and not from the XBox store. I bought the Porsche expansion pack form a store. I think Amazon. I also bought a couple of DLC cars off ebay. I think the Porsche pack cost $14.99 and the cars cost $2.99 each. In all cases I was sent a 25 character code to redeem. I entered the code on my XBox 360 console and the DLCs downloaded.
FM4 went end of life September 2015, I believe. I bought all the codes in either September or October 2015. They worked then. Do they work now? I don’t know. It is up to you if you want to try this.
The Porsche Expansion Pack is still listed for sale on Microsoft’s Canadian store website. I’m not sure it’ll work outside Canada.
Yeah really this is what I’ve been trying to figure out I even posted my own question about it cause I really want the benchmark track and stuff like that, so I’m just going to go get one of the codes online I will tell you if they work or not.
I only bought cars. I don’t know if track codes will work.
Great news! Bought the launch car pack and bonus track pack (Benchmark and Top gear soccer) on eBay and they downloaded and worked and appear in the in game marketplace as “purchased” too! So I’m going to buy the September car pack and American muscle pack and see if those work too.

It really depends on the DLC.
For example:
FM4 retail (2 disc edition) comes with Extra track pack DLC and this can be downloaded. I’ve bought mine in 2016 and it worked. It also “tells you” to download the BMW pack in Xbox Live because it’s free but of course it can’t be downloaded anymore.
FM3 Complete/Ultimate (name depends on region, mine is written Complete Edition in the box, it’s the same) comes with 3 TopGear DLC that doesn’t work.
FM3 Limited Collector’s Edition comes with 2 DLC, one for VIP and cars and the other for SideWinder benchmark track and extra tracks and legendary cars. Only the VIP and cars work.
Well I think all codes for FM4 still work there just wasn’t that many realeased I have the FM4 collectors edition but all the codes were used so since I just got the Xbox 360 literally 4 months ago I had to get caught up on Forza games for it (which is the main reason I bought one). I just wish there were more codes realeased for it cause I guess all the DLC is on the server you just can’t access it and the only way to access it is through a code… But after researching these are all the codes I’ve found: VIP car pack, Launch car pack, Bonus track pack, September Pennzoil pack, American muscle pack and the Porsche pack which I assume all of them work. Along with that season pass which completely trolls you if you buy it cause it uses the in game market place.
