I’ve just qualified for ranked adventures. Phew, what a slog. For every adventure I get to take part in there are at least three that fail because too few people accept them. I seem to spend more time waiting for a successful start than I do in the actual races. Do I have to go through the qualification again each season?

You just need to complete one ranked adventure per month. Your rank is not reset each month.
ie. you will appear as unranked, but will only need to complete one adventure to get a rank again, and it will pick up where you left off.
(I mean a month in real life, so once every four in-game seasons.)

Thanks. My mistake by the way, by season I meant each Festival playlist. I didn’t think it would be each week. Good news that I don’t have to go all the way through unranked each time.

It is possible to lose rank when doing the seasonal qualifying. This just happened to me when qualifying in Drift Adventure. I went from 2506 to 2486. From rank 10 to 11. The lineup consisted of only 2 that had already qualified the rest of us were qualifying. The 2 that were ranked came in first and third. I wound up in 8th place after taking 7th in the first, 6th in the second and 5th in the third. Somehow that in doesn’t seem right in itsself but I just didn’t think it was possible to lose rank when doing the seasonal qualifying. Guess I found out differenly.
