As per usual i owe some belated thanks, so cheers to Aqua, Dubh, Cheds, Huey and HRK. I do appreciate the comments and beg forgiveness for not saying so sooner.
Going back to June of last year, the final Lioness car was the Jaguar Project 7. After a well played semi against the U.S., they played a lackluster third place match. A little deflated i did share it, just was feeling too low to come here to show it off!
Still not caught up yet, but i wanted to share recent news about what is now almost a 5 year old paint, Suckerpunch. I was reminded yesterday morning there was an Iron Cross on one of the planes. So when i got home i unshared both cars i had painted it on. They were both featured with almost 50k downloads between them, but i am glad to see hateful imagery being removed and i will walk the walk when i talk the talk. Not a big fan of remastered things, but i do have another Babydoll image wip from back then too…
Thats a shame about your Suckerpunch design, But like you said, glad to see hateful imagery out. I’m lucky, I only had to remove 1 design with just a few d.l.s.

Thanks Noz, Ched and Aqua. No worries on Suckerpunch, is an old paint and i only see the flaws. Aqua, might have to watch it again soon, although not going to catch up with you for a while!
Swore I’d never paint an anime…
But there was two images from a manga I’ve always wanted to do! And featuring a Japanese winter theme I decided that before I left was a great time to do it. And Toyota was back, so maybe i could put it on the new Supra? But as the time dwindled, two images became one, but that one image lent itself well to a wrap. And as the time dwindled it became evident the new Supra was going to be in the game before i left.
But i did have a nicely wrapped MkIV featuring Senjougahara Hitagi from Bakemonogatari as painted in the light novel by Vofan.

But Dread had an image from SAO he was thinking about. I started watching the show, got hooked and as i was always eager for a new Dreadwalker73 anime, I offered to paint one of the characters. Originally planned as a three way Auction House collab with single character shared paints, it dropped to just Dread and I as the third painter had to help out a friend during these troubling times. The idea of a koift paint JDM sister cars and Dread muscle cars was born. I painted an Asuna Stacia vinyl and Dread painted Alice. As the show is in it’s final season there may be some other characters coming!
The image based fantasy paints in Forza have generally been either photo realistic or anime, and whilst search SAO images i saw pics of a talented cosplayer. This is what i should be painting i thought, and felt that it combined the two forms so well i realised i was surprised to of never seen an image of a cosplayer in Forza before.

Thanks Aqua. Nowadays when i try to do portraits i use the gradient circles to outline everything. Very layer heavy, but i think it looks a teeny bit better on car and “sets the mood” in the vinyl editor.
Cheers Dubh. Always trying to bring different people and characters into our subject matter, was actually worried Asuna and Senjougahara were too well known for a koiftt paint Was always out of touch with what’s popular, at least i can also use the old excuse now too!
“Left” was just referring to going on my winter trip as the paint had a winter theme. Definitely have a wip to finish, and a must do to paint on this console. We’ll see what the future brings as news starts to come in about the new game/console.

I read somewhere online the other day that the new Game won’t be ready for release on the launch of the new Console and that H4 would be getting the ‘enhanced for X series’ treatment. I normally trade in my Xbox when the new one comes out but I paint in FM7 so will probably stick with what I’ve got until Forza Motorsport (8) comes out.
Looking forward to seeing what you’ve got coming out next.

Thanksgiving Auctions in Horizon Four.
Ima stick a bunch of variants in the Auction House for the long weekend. 25 cars each day for four days. Some rarities, a couple of never befores and a whole bunch of my two Maxim issues. Minimum list price, maximum buyouts in a hope to encourage bidding. First batch is already up, please enjoy!
So after i put th/ batch up, it did dawn on me that i have NEVER been able to bid during the ending soon period. Ima continue on despite the ah being as broke as.

It’s a shame the AH is set up this way. There doesn’t seem to be any understanding of the potential this feature has for Forza painters. I’ve managed to use it to sell exclusive designs not available in my HUB, one-off private commissions, Limited Edition runs but not in the way I’ve been able to in the past. A change to the restrictions on time periods, min/max bid, extended bidding time and buyout prices would give more scope for the Community to use the AH in different ways.
Anyway, props to you for persevering, I’ve thrown a couple of bids on a couple of cars… lost those as I wasn’t around at the end of bidding yesterday but might be around when the next batch ends. Deliberately holding off the Buyouts for now just to give peeps a chance but I might splurge at the end of the weekend
BTW, have you considered staggering the auction lengths? Might help people in different time zones to bid.
