DLK koiftt paint

First off, belated thanks Aqua and Cbob for the compliments.
Secondly, been painting quite a bit and need to update this thread. Right now I’ll post some pics of my new scary paint for Halloween.

Ichi The Killer… nice how the colours glow!

Saw this on the Xbox Live feed yesterday, don’t know the film but love the design… great job koiftt! :sunglasses:

Epic as ever !

Wow the lionesses women’s football are amazing, the ichi is killer. Super work Koiftt.

The paints in your gallery are gorgeous. More, please.

Hey everyone, koiftt here.
First off, thank you Aqua, Dubh, Ched, Grimm and Ryno for the very kind words. They’re great compliments and I truly appreciate them.
I have a new paint to show you and other’s paints to comment on, but forza.net takes about 2 to 3 minutes to load each page. All other websites are fine. If anyone knows a solution let me know or I’m afraid it’s going to be the final nail in the coffin for the forums for me :frowning:

Yeah it’s really off putting isn’t it? Been getting slower for me over the last couple of months (maybe longer) and doesn’t seem to make any difference if I’m on Wi-fi or 4G.

Funnily enough I was just browsing the Xbox Live feed & saw your latest… again I don’t know the source material but it looks superb :clap:t5::clap:t5:

Decided to watch a movie to have something to do while these pages are loading. That’s right not a tv show, but a whole 2 hour long movie (in typical koiftt oddness it’s the 2006 Korean monster movie The Host).
So i started listening to J-rock right before i bought my 360 and started painting in Forza 4. Pretty much all my paints have been made to a Japanese alternative punk rock or shoegaze or post rock soundtrack. I always meant to paint an album cover or something, but i guess i wanted to get some practice in first!
This year I’ve been listening to a lot of Gusya Ningen and buying their back catalogue up from Yahoo auctions through a proxy service. When they announced a special gig at the same time my firms Christmas Vacation starts, i texted Kame, the guitarist, and asked, in bad Japanese, to reserve me a ticket. She’s awesome, so she did! I scheduled a few extra days off in the hope the jet lag will of wore of before the show!
The wait is killing me so i had to do something to fill the time…

Hey, look, the movies over

Well that was an eye-opener!! I wouldn’t have thought it’d be my cup of tea if I’m honest but found it strangely compelling nonetheless… great energy!
I’m always interested in people’s motivations to paint or if there’s a story behind a design. Painted a few album covers & music related designs over the years & tend to listen to that particular music in a loop until the project’s completed. Same thing with films, honestly can’t remember how many times I watched HEAT while painting De Niro & Pacino LoL

Gorgeous work!

the realization is perfect, this detail for me is a photo and not a drawing. Frankly beautiful, I can not wait to see your future projects

Farfadet, i really appreciate your wonderful compliment. Although i am pleased with my other images, this is the first one i feel actually looks like a photo

Dubh, thanks so much for watching the videos!!! Eye opener, umm, i picked those songs 'cause they were kind of calm! Have a bonus ear opening track from their crazier younger days

I know what you mean about the movies too, I’ve seen Suckerpunch and The Villianess countless times now. I really recommend The Villianess if you like action flicks, had a couple of peeps thank me for introducing them to it.
Hope to inspire fellow Forza players to try new things and to paint more, Make these slow loading pages worthwhile!

Wonderful Livery u created! Masterpiece! :grinning:

As per usual i’ll start with apologies and thanks. Thank you Ryno, thank you Noznol, for your kind words from many moons ago.

As i have always received kind words here, i’ll try to update and fill in the blanks for this thread. Aready starting to remember the joys of dealing with the antiquated necessity of photo hosting and resigning in ad nauseum.

I’ll start with a paint made for the club member who tunes most of my cars, figured i owed him, way back in October of last year. He Man and the Masters of the Universe.

Nice He-Man artwork!

Mate that is KILLER!!! :sunglasses:

Great work Koifft! see you this weekend on the track .

Man! All of these are really impressive!

He man brings me back to childhood awesome work.
