Deadlight Kustoms is remembering our passed member Steve Brieno, aka Doodley Squat, over the next 2’ish weeks with a tribute photo share.
We will have some races and events starting next week with different members, and more information will be available if you guys would like to be in the know.
But, for my event, I will be doing a Photo Share of DLK members paints in the Forza games.
If anybody would like to participate, all you have to do is grab a copy of a DLK member paint in a game, snap some photos, and post them here.
Everyone that posts at least one image with a member livery will receive ONE MILLION credits, at least two participation paints and their choice of a specialty paint done by one of our members. (paints will be added below)
What’s up gents! Can’t believe it’s been 10 years already. Happy that the Spirit of Doodley is still being preserved in the anniversary comps and get together race events through all these years. That’s the way he would have wanted it to be no doubt about it.
Here’s a few contributions with more to come til the 30th. No worries on prizes for me. It’s all about Doodles. Thanks DLK brothers…#Neverforget
I didn’t know Doodley but remember DLK from way back in the day when I was a shy participant on these forums. Some of my favourite Forza painters have been in this group so I’ve driven many DLK designs throughout many Forza titles over the years.
I was never much of a Forzatographer but I would still have taken some shots from early FM games, unfortunately those are lost to my old Photobucket album but I have a handful on Flickr which I can share…
What’s up guys! Thanks to @CFunk2001 for hosting the 10th Doodley Memorial this past couple weeks leading up to today as well as @Koiftt, past and present members, and last but not least our long time fearless leader of DeadLights Kustoms Mr. @DreadWalker73 himself. Yes Sir!
It’s been a long trip all these years within the Forza community. Many folks have enjoyed the franchise in all its glory from the early days dating back to 2007 (FM2 360) and some in the very beginning of FM1 on the oringinal Xbox. Just a handfull of the OG’s are sticking it out to this day. We may be all older and some wiser, but there is no denying the impact Doodley left on so many people within the Forza Community…even on these pages on this very site many moons ago.
Always willing to help out anybody at anytime. Never met one person that ever had a bad thing to say about the man. He just wasn’t that type of guy. Totally drama free in which back in the old days of this place that was an extreme rarity trust me. We truly lost a legendary person on this 10th anniversary April the 30th. As stated many members have left the franchise all these years that have past us by so fast, but if they saw this thread and the stories could be told many readers would get a grasp of how cool Doodles was on and off the track plus the paint booth.
So on that note. Thanks to DLK family once again and the visitors on this thread that have stopped by to comment and say hello. Much props and let’s always keep Doodles memory alive. #Neverforget.
