Hello everyone I’m trying to find the perfect eye and I think I’m close to getting it and I want to share it with you to give me advice and opinion.
Not sure there is such a thing as a perfect eye as each one is pretty unique.
You’ve got some nice colour combo’s going on. If you’re going for something photo realistic, try using some of the gradient circles to paint your next one, at the moment the sharpness of the edges is giving them that vector art/ clip art look - which is cool but again depends on what you’re aiming for.
You beat me to it D! Is there such a thing???
I guess it depends on who or what the ‘eye’ belongs to…… personally, I couldn’t give you much feedback until I saw the rest of the face but I’d go with what DamMe said & experiment with the gradient shapes as well as trying out some of the flames & splats - it’s surprising what effects you can get using those.
I must clarify that my goal of “perfect eye” is a “perfect” photorealistic eye, thanks for the advice on the circle graduated on the edges, I will put it to the test.
Eye’s can be fun to paint, they can also (as pretty much everything can) - be a royal pain in the - well enough said.
I use more gradient circles than anything when painting - unless it’s anime - then well Brackets from the fonts tab are my go to outline. More often than not they’re my go to eyelash as well - so that might be worth a look if you’ve not tried that yet.
Some random eyes for you
wow incredible work dude! You have a lot of talent, I’m really surprised, I’ve seen all your works, thanks again for the advice about the gradients. I will use them more in my work and I will try to make it better.
it is possible to make a photorealistic eye with the tools your provided with
I don’t know about the perfect eye but yours are really good!
