I want to thank everyone who posted and entered - We had more than I thought we would have. I appreciate all the time and effort of ALL who entered - Each one is an excellent example of what we love the Forza series for – the ability to create and “paint” these cars - “Job Well Done” by each participant !! Cheers for the props, although I was under the impression they were all equal winners??? Either way, I’m also very pleased to have placed in the top 3 - kudos to everyone who took part not least for trying to support community led comps 
Thanks very much for the pick Kool, the weekly comps are a bit hit or miss for me so it’s nice to get some recognition 
and thanks for putting this on because it’s given me the ‘bug’ again. I’ll definitely do my best to contribute if you run another
Looks like fun, plus it’ll give me a reason to get back into painting again (been lazy with it as work takes a big toll on me; once my shift ends and get home, i’ll be good for a few hours then i’m out)

I’ve also been a bit distracted from painting so this’ll help me get my focus back. I painted this months ago with something specific in mind but never got round to using it soooooo… SPOT!

Wanted to put my eagle on the Deberti, so I made a semi-transparent bow tie using the mask tool that’s all the rage these days. Shared with file name eagle using the description “show me a Chevy”.

I’ve got two to share,…
First up is “Something old”… a tribute to Ed ‘Big Daddy’ Roth - a cartoonist, illustrator & car customiser from the 50s/60s famous for his pinstriping & hot rod character Rat Fink. Been wanting to bring his ‘Nite Mare’ Bel Air to the game for ages but never got around to it. Source pics of the original car are limited to a couple of black and white photos & this colour shot that I found while researching a Hot Rod photographer.

I paint footy cars from time to time & seeing as Chevrolet sponsors Manchester United it seemed like a no brainier for this competition. Inspiration for this one came from the limited edition designs for the Sail & Beat models…

Really pleased to of placed second in the comp. Also very glad Nyte Mare won, definetly the best paint in the comp. Also really liked the panel work on the rat-rod so tripely pleased it placed too. But most of all glad Man U didn’t get yet another trophy and so very relieved Chevrolet don’t sponsor A******, C****** or W*** H**!
