Well sorry for not hanging out 24/7 on these forums, if a video is removed numerous times how am I supposed to know? I found it on Youtube just looking for newly released videos.
I don’t see what the fuss is all about, it’s just another game play video?
Yeah no worries, I appologize if I was a bit rude in my reply. I was a bit annoyed my reply got deleted and vented that off in my reply to you, sorry for that.
I did see the deleted video title on the forum summary page but I never clicked it to read it. Little did I know when I was just browsing on youtube a couple of hours later I would stumble upon the same video…
Anyway I saw the original video from Thrusted Reviews now as well. I think they should have been a bit more careful where to put their video before the intended release date. Then some guy finds it and "“pirates a review video”. Ok I fully agree it’s not a nice thing to do but again, a lot of fuss for a small thing IMO. It’s just a small review video…
The pirated version has a nice tune to the video though, I initially thought that would be part of the FH3 soundtrack. Bummer that it’s not but I got to shazam it.
Agreed. Really looking for a demo for PC. I think there should not be difference like this between PC and Xbox since the release of Xbox Play Anywhere.
I’ll be very disappointed if they don’t release the demo on the PC too. Like 2 weeks away from the full game release and they have problems putting a demo on Windows 10? In my eyes (and probably in others too) it’ll be pathetic and disappointing at the same time.
I’m not planning to play it on PC since my once high-end gaming PC is now 5 years later like an old granny that cannot even play Apex for 1 hour on minimal settings without serious stutter and fps drops. But hey, if any format deserves the demo more than they other it’s definately the PC version since you guys need it a lot more as a tech demo than us console players. So +1 vote to release a PC demo from me as well.
If a PC demo is not coming or will be released later than the XBox demo then I would think the reason is that T10/PG are still doing some last minute fixes and updates. Forza 6 Apex came out of beta only days ago with a list of supported wheels, I wouldn’t be surprised if T10/PG are doing those same updates in FH3 as well. And I would think they prefer to release a PC demo with the full wheel support in it as well.
Game has gone gold about a week ago, so right now I think the only possible answer is they are working hard on making a day one patch and making sure all their services will work. I really wanna buy Horizon 3 as this will be my first Forza game that I will actually buy too. Almost 4 years ago I won the first Forza Horizon in an online competition with that weird looking wireless wheel. The fact was, I didn’t have an Xbox 360 so I was screwed. I just had to throw the game away and let someone else pick it up.
About my PC, well I’ve been upgrading it very slowly since I got it as it was a bit of a birthday and Christmas present at the same time. I’ve been taking a good care of it. Slowly I bought a new SSD, changed the case and now I bought a newer and drastically more powerful GPU than I had previously and next on my list is completely changing the motherboard. So yeah, slow and steady upgrade for the future.
All in all, even if the demo would come the week after this next one I wouldn’t mind it, as long as we got the demo. I dislike when companies are not speaking their mind and then piss off many of their fans. On the other side I also don’t like when they are very straightforward when it comes to information. Something in between would be nice, like telling us which platforms will get the demo and just giving us a few more details on what we’re supposed to expect.
Correct me if I’m wrong but has there actually been any confirmation on the PC demo being non-existent other than our source being the Microsoft Store showing it as available on just Xbox One?
No confirmation yet on PC one way or another, they haven’t even discussed the Xbox demo in an official capacity. I wish they weren’t so hush-hush with this stuff. The game is out in a few weeks and there’s barely been any press or previews since E3.
For the PC guys check out this link it doesn’t have Xbox one marked on it so there might be hope for PC users to download the demo when available. The demo will be 18GB by the way. If you read the installation section in the link it states “Install on your home Xbox One console plus have access when you’re connected to your Microsoft account.”
It may not have Xbox marked on the image but to the right of the four images it says ‘Available on’ and then only lists Xbox One. That’s why people think the demo may not come to PC.
I hope that as the game got added to the Win10 store app later than the Xbox versions, then maybe the demo will be the same. A small hope but still a hope.
