I discovered - while browsing the settings this weekend - that the XBOX1 version of FH4 (and presumably the PC version too) can emit telemetry to an IP:port.
So i threw together a StatsD → Graphite → Graphana docker stack along with a quick and dirty dotnet core worker to adapt the known telemetry into StatsD packets…
Questions abound:
- Has anyone discovered the purpose for the 12 extra bytes injected between the Sled and Dash data by FH4 though? I think they might be related to damage.
- is there a published list of offiical cars to match to the carOrdinal?
- the rumblestrip and puddle data is useless in FH4 to read/guess terrain quality as they’re always zero.
- 3 different tire slips, but no tire pressure info?
