Like the Rover K-series or Ford’s own Kent and Duratec engines previously, the 2,3 Ecoboost has become a favorite for builders of small, lightweight, track-focused sports cars. The entry-level engine of the previous-gen Mustang, the last Focus RS and the current Focus ST has already found its way into lightweights made by VUHL, Zenos, Elemental and, of course, as you may have guessed, Dallara. There is so much more to the Stradale than the engine though. This is the first road car from the people whose daily job is building IndyCar, Formula 2 and Formula 3 race cars. So it’s bound to be light (855 kg) and fast (0-100 in 3,2). It’s fast in corners, too, almost producing its own weight in downforce. There is a manual gearbox, or a faster, but less fun dual-clutch. The rest of the spec sheet may well have be one of a racecar: Quaife limited-slip differential, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, Pirelli Trofeo R tires and active suspension. Oh, and the Ecoboost is tuned to 400 PS by Bosch. Only 600 will ever be made, and the lucky owners will get a track monster that eats supercars for breakfast.
Apparently the normal Stradale is just a barchetta and the other body styles are actually parts customers can install so I would like to have the Barchetta and add parts to the body like in real life the wing is also an option
