Credits grinding

Okay, I’m broke and need credits…

I’m considering the following parameters in free play:

  • Track: Daytona oval
  • AI: unbeatable
  • Mods: 240%
  • VIP bonus

Now, which car will yield credits faster, between these:

  • 1969 Camaro SS FE (upgraded to the max)
  • Indycar

The Camaro gives 100% credit bonus, but the Indycar will be much faster… I haven’t done any comparison tests and my brain is too foggy to do some math, so if anyone can give me an insight, I’d appreciate.

Thanks!

1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth Forza Edition - 50% plus 50% for a night race. Pick up a tuning and you can waltz by ‘unbeatable’. Daytona oval at night. Handles better than the Camaro.

Thanks for the suggestion. But then, I’m still wondering whether an Indycar might be a better choice than the 1992 Escort FE? No CR bonus with the Indycar, but the lap times will be much quicker, so since CR is earned based on distance, the Indycar might be a more efficient choice in terms of credits earned per hour.

Find out how much each lap returns as well as the average lap time, then apply to the two formula below to find out:

C: Credits per lap
L: number of laps
IT: time in seconds for Indycar
CT: Time in seconds for Camaro (or whatever credit+ FE car you use)

Indycar: ((C5.4)L)/(ITL) = credits per second
Camaro: ((C
6.4)L)/(CTL) = credits per second

You need to include the other bonuses (VIP, drivatar difficulty, mods) to this calculation to make this work.

It does.

Base multiplier is credits * 1, then 2.4 for mods, another 1 for unbeatable, and 1 more for VIP. Another 1.0 for the FE bonus on the Camaro.

Sweet! I’ll try that, thanks!

Personally, I found that Indy and Homestead provided much better payouts relative to time than the Daytona oval - but I admit that I’ve never really used Camaro FE. Do you get the extra 50% as soon as you go above 150mph or how does its bonus work?

You get 50% if at some point you get the speedometer to read 151 mph during the race. It should be no issue as you can max tune a car and get it R 880+ or maybe even P class some.

Talking about a paucity of credits, this is my third week of redeeming the weekly credits and not having them post to my account. That’s 1,050,000 credits I’m down and for this game that’s a lot of credits to be out of. I want my last three week’s worth of credits someone!

how long have you waited since redeeming them
others have said they are not coming as quickly as they used to but they did come after a while…it does state up to 4 hours…even though it is usually only a few minutes

Also going off topic

I claimed my credit bonus today and when it finally came after about 8 hours I got 1.2 million to make up for the 2 weeks they didn’t give it out

That’s only about 1 hour on the Indy Oval even for a non vip.

Escort for short races, Indycar for long races.

Just play the game!! forza 7 is watered down moron racing. I had tier 4 unlocked in less than 24 hours of play time with a formula mazda car . pick mods you all ready use and do ten laps around each track so it dont get boring . for me most 30 lap races ywilded well over half a mill yo…

I used the forza edition M4 on the short Nurburgring. 35 laps with 300% mods and unbeatable. Took about 1hr 20mins and got me 1,300,000 credits. More fun to me than ovals. Alternative is lemans short at night with the forza edition cosworth.

Thanks everyone for your valuable inputs!
