CorndogCrusader's Car Wishlist

With the upcoming season that has a lot of Japanese cars in it, I feel like it would be cool to have a bunch more, especially with the fact that a lot of the ones in the new season are fairly old and considered “slow” by today’s standards. I have a few ideas that I’d love to see in the game, they aren’t for everyone, but I do think these cars would be a cool addition.

Autozam models I think would be great in the game:

  • 1994 Autozam AZ-1
  • 1990 Autozam Scrum
  • 1994 Autozam AZ-Wagon

I feel like Autozam is a really underrated car company, like, sure the cars are very small and not very powerful, but I think they are super cool and fun. I think they’d be very fun cars to add to the game.

Mazda cars I think would be great in the game:

  • 1967 Mazda Cosmo
  • 1970 Mazda RX-2
  • 2007/10 Mazdaspeed 3
  • 1979 Mazda RX-7

These Mazda cars I feel like would be a great addition to Forza Horizon 5, you have a lot of interesting older cars, and then the Mazdaspeed 3 which I feel is a very underrated Japanese car.

Toyota cars I think would be great in the game:

  • 2000 Toyota MR2 Spyder
  • 2023 Toyota GR86
  • 1983 Toyota Celica Supra
  • 1997 Toyota Corolla Hatchback (I’d like the WRC version too, because that car is awesome)
  • 2023 Toyota Yaris (The GR version would be cool too)

A lot of these Toyota cars I think are fairly obvious. The third generation MR2 is an underrated car and is now the only gen of MR2 that isn’t in the game, the new GR86 is a fantastic looking car and I feel like it would fit right at home in the game. The Celica Supra is a classic and is what started the legend, the 1997 Toyota Corolla is a WRC legend and I feel like would fit right at home in the game alongside the Peugeot 207 that’s in the game, and the new Yaris is just a great car in general. I feel like having the old ones would be fantastic as well.

A few Nissan cars I think would be great in the game:

  • 1982 Nissan Micra (Bonus points if it’s the Super Turbo)
  • 1959 Datsun 1600 Sports
  • 2010 Nissan Juke (Bonus points if the Juke-R is included)
  • 1991 Nissan Figaro
  • 1996 Nissan Stagea (The 260 RS would be sick too)

The list of Nissan cars I feel is very unorthodox. There’s a few cars in there that I feel are underrated, lesser known (although undeserving) and a few cars in there that are very well-known, and perhaps overly hated. For example, I don’t think most people are aware of the Nissan Figaro, it’s a strange little car but I think it’s cute and fun. Same with the Stagea, I don’t think it’s a very well-known car, but it’s a really cool station wagon, in my eyes. The Micra is a fun little hatchback that I feel like a lot of people sleep on, and the Nissan Juke is… hated for various reasons, some justified, some unjustified, but I think it would be a fun car to just play around with, especially the Juke-R. The Datsun Sports was pretty much the precursor to the Z cars, and I feel like having it in the game would be a fantastic idea, as it is underrated and honestly pretty cool in my eyes.

Mitsubishi cars I think would be great in the game:

  • 1990 Mitsubishi 3000GT
  • 1994 Mitsubishi FTO (Bonus points if the GP Version R is added too)
  • 1997 Mitsubishi Pajero (The Evolution would be sick too)
  • 1976 Mitsubishi Lancer (The 1600 GSR would be a great addition too)
  • 2003/8 Mitsubishi Eclipse

I think this group of Mitsubishis would be absolutely great. The 3000GT is a car that is already well-known and I like it quite a bit, although I feel the FTO is an underrated car and it definitely deserves more love. Yeah, it’s front-wheel-drive, but front-wheel-drive isn’t inherently bad. The Pajero is an underrated SUV and the Evolution just makes it even cooler, and the 1976 Lancer is pretty much where the Lancer started and I think it deserves more respect. The more modern Eclipses are underrated and I feel like they don’t deserve it. I like them personally.

Honda cars I think would be great in this game:

  • 1992 Honda Civic Type R (The hatchback specifically.)
  • 2023 Honda Civic Type R
  • 1967 Honda S800
  • 1999 Honda Prelude
  • 2006 Honda Civic Si
  • 1992 Honda CR-X Del Sol
  • 1991 Honda Beat

A lot of these Hondas are fairly obvious. The 92 Civic, obviously, it’s one of the most well-loved Civic generations on the Earth and I don’t know how it was overlooked for this game. Same with the 2023 Civic, obviously they haven’t had much time to add the car yet, but I feel like this car is a no-brainer to be brought into the game. The Honda S800 is a very cool, lesser known car but it is an important one. The 99 Prelude is just cool in general, the 2006 Civic is one of the less liked Civics (Probably because it didn’t have a Type R version) but I like it personally. The Del Sol is a very interesting little two-seater sports car from Honda that is underrated as all heck, and the Honda Beat is similar. Lesser known, lesser appreciated, but cute as heck.

Thanks for reading all of this if you have. I know it’s a lot of cars I have suggested, but I do feel like all of these cars would be welcome additions, even if they won’t be at the top of the online racing scene, a lot of these cars are just downright fun, and I think a lot of players would agree.

Given that I’ve discovered a few more cars I think would be great in the game, I will add them as a comment down here.

  • 2009 Chevrolet Camaro SS (This is a car I’ve requested before but I thought I should include it in here too as a reminder that this car still hasn’t appeared in a recent Forza Horizon game and it definitely should)
  • 1996 Renault Sport Spider (The Renault Sport Spider is a sick little sports car. It’s very smol, it only has 150 horsepower, however, it’s also only 2000 pounds, meaning it has a bit more horsepower than a Gen 1 Miata, and is about 100 pounds lighter. I think it would be a pretty sick car to drive around Mexico in)
  • 1996 HSV VS GTS-R (While this car is horrendously ugly, I think it’s also pretty cool, it’s a quirky little Australian muscle car. It’s something brand new to the franchise - at least, I think - and it’s interesting.)
  • 2005 Ford Mustang GT (This one is fairly straight-forward. The 2005 Mustang has been ignored by Forza recently and it is undeserving of that. I personally think it’s the best looking of the modern Mustangs, but I might be in the minority.)
  • 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt SS (I mean… come on. American tuner cars are underrated and don’t deserve to be.)
  • 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer SS (The off-duty cop wagon itself. We need it. Plz.)
  • 1998 Volkswagen Beetle (I mean… duh. It wasn’t in FH4, and it’s not in FH5. It needs to be in FH5. Bonus points if the RSi comes to the game too)
  • 1985 Dodge Omni (Because we need more crap-boxes in this game. Bonus points if you include the GLH and GLH-S. I personally am sick of getting flooded with super cars constantly, and I think we need more variety, this car - as well as a lot of the other ones I’ve suggested - I think will add really nicely to the variety of the cars in this game)
  • 2003 Dodge Neon SRT-4 (I mean… this is a no-brainer. It’s a sick version of a sleeper car, it needs to happen)
  • Factory Five Gen 3 Type 65 Coupe-R (The reason I’m suggesting this is fairly obvious. It’s a modern kit car version of the Shelby Daytona Coupe, but it has insane aero making it into a modern racing beast.)
  • DF Goblin (A kit car that makes a 1st gen Miata into a mid-engined racing beast. Enough said, it needs to be a thing in this game)
  • Factory Five 818S/C/Race (This is a kit car that is a super car, the S is the street version, the C is the coupe version and the Race version is… well, the race version. It’s a pretty sick car and I think it would be fun to drive in FH5)
  • Superlite Cars SL-C (Basically a street legal race car that is also a kit. It looks like a Group C race car. It’s sick)
  • 2014 Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG 003 (A track-oriented but street legal car that looks like a McLaren Senna but cooler. I love this car and I want to drive it in FH5)
  • LB Specialist Cars STR (This is a kit car repro version of the Lancia Stratos. Might be a good loophole to get around the licensing issues? Think about it, it would be sick)
  • Factory Five '33 Hot Rod (A kit car reproduction of the classic hot rods of the early-mid 20th century. I think this would be a fantastic addition)
  • Ultima RS (Basically a more modern version of the 1020, it’s a really sick car and I think it would be a good addition)
  • Speedway Motors 1927 Track-T Roadster (This kit car is super awesome, it’s like an old hot rod but more track focused, at least in appearance. I love this thing, and I wanna drive it in Forza)
  • Factory Five Hot Rod Truck (Very creative name, I know, but this is a kit car hot rod truck. It’s so sick and I want to drive it in Forza)
  • Factory Five Racing-GTM (The Racing-GTM is pretty much Factory Five’s flagship. It’s a super car that looks like it’s built for racing, and the name reflects that. It’s a sick car and needs to be recognized)

Got some more recommendations for cars! These are a few that I recently thought of.

  • 2023 Morgan Plus 6
  • 2023 Morgan Plus 4
  • 2018 Morgan Plus 8
  • 2021 Morgan Plus 8 GTR
  • 2023 Morgan Super 3
  • 1991 Suzuki Cappuccino
  • 2006 Saturn Sky
  • 2005 Pontiac Solstice
  • 2017 Karma Revero
  • 2021 Karma GS-6

All these Morgan cars might not be to everyone’s tastes, but I personally love them. I love old cars, and I do mean old cars, and the Morgan line-up has the really awesome styling of these old cars that I love, but with all the features of a modern car. You get a bonus if you add the race car body kit to the Morgan Plus 4. The Suzuki Cappuccino is just a cool car, it’s a tiny little sports car that’s basically Suzuki’s version of a Miata. It would be a fun car. The Saturn Sky and Pontiac Solstice are also very similar, they are both super cool and interesting cars that I think would be fun additions. The two Karma cars are two cars that I don’t think a lot of people would know about. They have an interesting history, and they are also two really cool looking cars. I think they’d be fun additions to the game, and they’ll add a new, interesting manufacturer to the game, as opposed to adding they 700th Ford to the game or something.
