Hey all, hope everyone is enjoying the FM7 experience as much as I am. As always when a new game comes out, I try and do something to enhance our wonderful community and community content focused around the game, so we have something in the threads other than complaints, grips, wish lists, etc. It’s time for another of my ‘TuffPuppers give away contests in exchange for your participation.’ Which I have been doing since FM4.

Also big thanks to Johniwanna, for his mention in this weeks, always wonderful, always well written ‘Rear View Mirror’ News - Forza

I will give away two DLC Codes for exclusive driver gear that you cannot win in the game or get from crates. (as far as I am aware) Update giving away 5 Prizes now.

Details:
• Submit a photo of any car of your choice in an action/race setting of your choosing

Criteria:
• Any Car, Any Livery or Color or Stock, no restrictions
• Any Environment/Ribbon/Weather conditions
• Action or Racing, Jumps, Spins, Flips, or just running down the road
• Submit photo in thread (if you need to know how check this link: https://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst2289_-UPDATED--Guide--How-To-Upload-Images.aspx or submit a link to your photo if you cannot upload.
• You may (and I encourage) submit a description of car/track and small story behind the photo, but it is not a requirement (just cool if you do)

Timing:
• Contest starts, right now, and will run until Next Friday October 13th, 11:59 PM Pacific Time
• I will award DLC Codes via PM to winners on Saturday 14th

Judging:
• Criteria is pretty open, I will judge my two favorites based on spirit of the theme, creative factors, and showing off the car, make the car in action the star. 1st Place will get choice of which of the two Race Gear they want, 2nd - 5th place will get whichever was not chosen. updated

Fun:
• Have fun, enjoy, explore your cars, your environments and racing. You need not be an award winning photographer to do this, literally anyone has a chance of winning, especially if anyone guesses my favorite cars haha. If I get a huge flood of entries, I may offer more race gear to runners up, so you never know.

Also, I kindly ask, that this thread be used just for this contest and so we all have some great and cool cars to look at. Please refrain from:
• Telling me this is stupid
• Telling me Racing gear is pointless
• Complaining about the game
• Complaining that ForzaPhotograhy sucks
• Hijacking this thread for your own agenda and topic

I ask this respectfully, there are lots of threads out there on endless topics, let’s keep this one about providing some fun/interesting community content, and silly driver gear give away. Have at it, I will submit my example first.

You all made this really hard to pic. I humbly want to thank each and everyone of you for participating! These images are fantastic, its so awesome seenig what everyone submitted and I really enjoyed looking at them all. In the end, I liked them so much, I had to pick 6 winners as follows. That being said, I am attempting to give EVERYONE who entered a prize, so stand by as I see what I have left in my supply and start sending out PMs

This image is amazing. The glow on the track, Fire Breathing Viper (yeah, its a Mopar!) Beautiful Sky, well composed. This image is artistic, well excecuted and also fits the them of ‘Action’ very well.

I think for theme of ‘Action’ this picture of all submitted best shows the need for speed! Well exceuted motion blur while still making the ‘car the star’, that is what its all about.

Another Viper (A coincidence I assure you!) from an almost full top down angle at Laguna Seca, one of my favorite tracks and only 2 hours away from where I live. Here we have the legendard ‘corkscrew’ and amazing blind crest, three story drop bit of madness! The contrast of the car against the almost monochromatic road and sand really make it stand out, and the motion effect was quite effective here.

Legendary Silverstone in the rain, something about this rear quarter perspective speaks to me. That wing and angle looking forward makes this car seem agressive, which is not what you usually think of from this angle, mostly forward tend to look more agressive. The wet motion streaks on the track really hit the theme of ‘Action’ well.

That is pretty amazing, actually we had two people submit two-wheeling RAM’s, I like the reflection on the wet track a lot, and lets face it, nothing says ‘Action’ like death defying two wheeling!

The Dubai track is a nice addition to the game, black Lambo against the sandy and mountain convered back ground gives nice contrast. For the theme of ‘Action’ I think racing a helicopter says it all.

My Example, this will not be a judged entry.

Car: Dodge Demon, 2018, F&F Edition
Environment: Dubai – Full Circuit
Note: I made a Gold/Black two tone paint (like my actual 1973 Dodge Challenger) and liked the way it sort of went with the sandy dunes and contrasts against the blue sky. I slowed down the shutter speed to show the feel of motion, I think I was going about 100MPH.

I named this one “Track Paint” because it’s sporting the paint job a track gives you after racing for a while. The sound of the cockpit in the car was amazing and the fog made the racing exciting. It was awesome.

I like VIR as it is a very challenging track to say the least. Just keep the car on the road is a challenge in and of itself. Here is my proof that high speed and tight winding tracks not always go together.

I have updated the top post with Pictures of the Driving Gear, since you cannot view these on your ‘Driver Gear’ tab, unless you have the DLC installed.

I have also asked (via Private Message to a MOD) that this thread be put back in the main forum, I figured all the awesome Forza Photographers would see it and participate, but am hoping the people that do not usual take pictures or post will be inspired to add to our community content via the contest, seemed to work last two times. But they often do not check the ‘Photography’ forum. Lets post some actions shots everyone! I understand from my buddy Johniwanna, he will be mentioning the contest in todays RVM, so hope to get it some more folks participating!

Reminder - Contest closing this Friday around midnight.

I have revised contest, we have a lot of great pictures so I have decided to give out more prizes, likely my Top 5 favorites, I have to see how many more codes I can gather.

I have not been able to get the contest moved to the main forum thus far, so I think the turn out or people that filter down to the Forzatography sub-forum is more limited, but the plug in this weeks RVM,helped. Still time for everyone to win, post those pictures!
