Color banding in the sky in specific conditions and time of day only

Anybody else experiencing difficulties getting the HDR to look right?

In rainy, foggy, and overcast conditions there’s color banding in the sky. The gradients of white and grey do not blend in smoothly.

Same goes for time of day where the sun is hanging low and there’s a beautiful bluish pinkish hue in the sky. I can see gradients around the sun.

Is this an HDR issue to be resolved later?

FH 5 and FM 7 look pristine. As do all other games.

It’s just FM that I have an issue with.
