Note: For the 1990 and 1991 model years, the aforementioned Mitsubishi-sourced V6 engine replaced Chrysler’s 2.2L “Turbo II” powerplant that was used in the 1989 TC; the automatic transmission for 1990 and 1991 were upgraded to a four-speed unit from a three-speed, and unlike the turbo model, V6-powered TCs were not offered with a 5-speed manual, therefore leaving the said automatic as the only transmission available
