It would be great if you added a chat option like in other games, where you could write and send a message. The message would be displayed, for example, at a distance, allowing you to communicate with the player you’re playing with.
Imo, only if there’s an opt-out or ability to disable it completely

unfortunately i cannot see this happening - unless it automatically blocks messages that are rude, or swearing etc - they want to keep the game accessible to young children. Even if it comes up as *** i dont think it will fly. They would need a way that reads your wording and blocks anything before sending that could be seen as swearing etc. i do love the idea though just stating out some thoughts
Well to be fair, AI could very much do that, all the fuss about it aside, it excells at language and recognizes context better and better, if used just as a simple tool to recognize hostile speech it could do that just fine
