I have the 45,000 points needed for the FE Mustang In Domination championship but it won’t award the car.
You need to complete everything in the championship to get the car. Not just get the 45k points.

If you’re talking about the Elite championship, you have to complete every event in Domination in order to win the car/gear.
I don’t think you need to WIN every event, just complete them all while amassing the 45K points for the Domination category. But, yeah, need to complete 'em all. I hit 110K in Masters but still have a few series to complete, it hasn’t popped for me yet
I have unlocked every other car without finishing all events. I’ll try that though.
Does raise the question as to why you can max out the points before you complete the events. Especially the elite ones.
On the elite championships you don’t get the achievement for completing it until all events are finished, even though the points are maxed

Probably so that people who don’t win every championship/race can still get the trophy/ car/ achievement

You don’t get the achievement, and there’s no car reward for the elite levels.
I’m sorry, but you’re wrong.
There is a second set of races and prizes that shows up once you’ve gone through the career once and a set of prizes for completing every single race in career mode.
If you read a few posts further up, you’ll realise you’ve replied to this statement out of context.

The target points are important for the ordinary championships but once the elite championships open up, they represent only a small part of the achievement. Most players will achieve them without really trying.

I am doing the second set of races right now.
I have have done all races in the first two elite championships, and got the achievements.
I have maximum points on two of the other, I have not got the achievement.
So there is no point in a points system in the elite levels, if maxing the points doesn’t win you anything.
Im not bothered, was just pointing out a fact.
You don’t get achievement until all races are finished, and there’s no reward car (like in the lower tiers)
I finished off every event and it did unlock. However I also have the Jaguar F-Type and still have I believe 3 tournaments left.
