I believe this post is regarding the 2017 Saleen S7 LM as I recall seeing the post a few months back.
I’ve tested the S7 LM in the game and it is indeed a wrong sonud.

As for loud flybys and onboard sound, I can’t find any long and insightful videos for the S7 LM but if you contact the manfuacturer or attach some mics to the actual car - like the Forza Horizon 5 guys did - you’ll be able to nail the character of it. Also check some of the below vids for inspiration.
It sounds very bland, flat and generic in the game right now. Just switch to the exhaust view and there’s barely any detail at low to mid revs. Even the high torque range RPM sound is very generic. You guys need to capture the true “dirty” sound of the S7 and S7 Le Mans edition.
Another video I was able to pull up. Beautiful revving sounds at around the 40 second mark: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0F81aM2vRT4 - followed by acceleration at 1:30 to give you an idea of how dirty and detail-rich the sound is at the low-mid torque range.

Both the S7s deserve an overhaul to be honest - most V8 sounds in the game are not accurate or plain wrong, as you already may know. @JetPartySalad

Hi, I’m creating a separate post for this as the other S7 sound post is around the 2004 model for some reason although I believe it has to do with the 2017 Le Mans edition. Please feel free to merge this, or lock/delete thread if not needed.
Thanks - both cars require an overhaul, S7 and S7 Le Mans edition - the other thread (initiated by @opencamswrx) has videos which I posted to give you guys some direction.
Not just that, it doesn’t even LOOK like the real thing either!

Visual car modelling is an ongoing issue I believe as I’ve read many reports by now, which they may or may not be working on to improve, can’t say for sure.
The sound is quite wrong though, like the OP and @Speedster996 said, its generic and does not have the signature “dirty” exhaust sound of a high revving Saleen S7 engine/exhaust.
The videos in that other post is all the evidence they need to improve the sound.
