Sadly, this is one of those infamous car models in FORZA that needs to be fully rescanned and remodeled. I mean just look at this!
When JDM and pre-FM5 cars are modeled are scanned with respect and passion, it creates excitement for people like us to actually drive them in game! Adding New cars alone will not create excitement and passion.
Personally, I would be so much more excited to have fully remodeled JDMs and EVOs than new cars. I know the EVOs can look so good!

If they ever remodel this car they could add the varis widebody kit to it as well to make it more interesting in the future but don’t no if need for speed has exclusive licensed the evo widebody kits for the ix and x but othe cars like Subaru s209 have one and people keep suggesting the type r widebody as well so hopefully in the future they add more kits from them it could also be added to the viii

The model dated back to FM3. And thing is, the FM3 and FM4 (X360) model of Evo IX MR doesn’t have its headlights sticking out, so it persisted since FM6 when it returns to Forza after its absence from FM5, FH1, and FH2.
This is one of my favorite Lancer Evos, but how did the modelers manage to ruin it? I cannot believe that when it returned to Forza games after a 4-year absence, the old, outdated model is reused.
Also, what’s noticeable is that the wheel spacing is too narrow and its ride/suspension height is too low. Even the wheel spacing fix upgrades since FH4 can’t fix it.
And comparing it to Gran Turismo 7’s model, which is 100% fully accurate. And difference is, their Evo IX MR is a JDM-spec which features a diffuser rear bumper as standard, and is non-existent in the USDM models.
It needs a serious major remodel! And also, bring the JDM-spec rear bumper option after its remodel, not right away with the old model.
