I can’t hear the engine sound of this car well in the cockpit view with the default sound setting.(everything is 100%)
Engine sound of the opponent cars drowns out the engine sound of this car.

I can’t tell when to shift since the engine is too quiet.

I am playing on Xbox series X.

Same problem is happening with

1993 Ford Mustang

1988 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

1990 Chevrolet Camaro

2002 Chevrolet Camaro

1987 Pontiac Firebird

so I think the sound volume of 1980-2000s American V8 is wrong in this game.

I was driving the Camaro today and I noticed the same thing. Even with opponent car volume down to 60%, a Mini JCW '12 driving next to my car could easily howl it down. Camaro’s engine is too quiet especially with the chase camera (barely louder than in the cockpit).

The 2002 Pontiac Firebird seems to have that issue as well.

They really should continue looking at this issue on a car to car basis. I believe they may already be doing that but still many cars are affected. Some have been improved, however, only a small handful.
