Using the hood view, if the car shakes too much you can see the road underneath the hood surface.

Does this issue still persist after recent updates? Would it be possible to provide a recent video of this in action?

Yes, it is actually happening to other cars with vents. If you look at the grill on the hood of the M3 GTS, you actually see the green of the track showing through it.

Same thing with the Caterham, you can the green of the track and the turned passenger front wheel through the vents.
