Recently me and my mates decided to get the xbox game pass and play forza horizon 4 on pc, from the start I would have the odd session disconnects but would still be able to do forzathons and online season championships after the first couple weeks my disconnect seems to be happening every 4 to 5 minutes I’ve read through heaps of forums and tried heaps of tricks pretty gutted atm because I’ve just brought both the lego island and fortune island dlcs before the disconnects were a problem any help would be appreciated
Hello, I am writing with a problem, I am suffering for the third day and to no purpose. I want to play over the network in the game Forza Horizon 4. When I click on the “play online” button, I get an error: “connection to the server failed. Please try again later” (first screenshot). My NAT type is open and the connection to the server is: connected (second screenshot). Why do I have such an error? Please help, I will be very grateful !!!

Здравствуйте ,пишу с проблемой,мучаюсь уже третий день и бестолку. Я хочу поиграть по сети в игре Forza Horizon 4. При нажатии на клавишу “играть в сети” выходит ошибка : “ошибка соединения с сервером. повторите попытку позже”. У меня тип NAT открытый и подключение к серверу: подключено (второй скрин). Почему у меня такая ошибка? Помогите пожалуйста, буду очень благодарен!!!

I Allowed All Of This, But The Forza Horizon Online Features Are Still Locked. How To Fix This?!
Seems there’s a few with the same issues as me with no fix in sight.
Even with picture evidence that there should be no problem, all you get sent in the ticket is a link to the FAQ telling you to do the things you’ve already shown them you’ve done. What’s up with that?
I can connect forza horizon 4 online but after 5-15 mins later it says connection lost. I tried a lot of things but I cant fix it.

It’s been a couple of days now since I last could connect on Forza Horizon 4. Now it won’t connect at all. When I try Eliminator it just “freezes” and it doesn’t start, it keeps me on free roaming. Anyone having a similar issue or know how to solve this connectivity problem?
All of my online features are locked. I can acces communuty desings but cant play online. I tried everything in this video even the port fowarding but i doesnt helplink. i dont know what to do now pls help.
I’m getting a message when trying to start online adventures that reads ‘FEATURE LOCKED There was an error communicating with the server. Please try again later’ any help please? Can’t see any updated that need applying and my internet is working for all other games!
I just bought this game like a month ago. I’m a very competitive person and I’m all about ranked racing. Got to rank 5 in no time, super happy about it, next season is Grandmaster time for sure.

This is really driving me crazy!
My pc can handle FH4 Flawless and my internet speed is a fiber 1Gb and still I kicked out of the servers .
I play this game for about a month now , and I really enjoy it but I enjoy it less and less.
Its especially annoying when I try to do my weekly’s…
Finally you’re in a good team what sometimes takes forever!! (season game part) and you’re ahead… Yess! and the message appears… trying to find a new session…
Man what is this? why can’t I rejoin if its just a hiccup or something… do you guys experience the same or is it just me?
Im verry new to this game, and I like to know if this is a common thing.
Maby someone knows what to do about it?

I’m in the same boat as you. Both my pc and my internet are more than overqualified for Horizon 4 but I just can’t have a good online session.
It takes forever to find an online session or a match, and once I do it will get disconnected out of nowhere. Sometimes at the very beginning, sometimes when it’s in the middle.
I’ve been going back and forth with support for a long while. They can’t help. I gave up.
I just have to accept that I will never be able to achieve the 80% milestones without the online part.
I still enjoy the other parts of the game though, playing once a week when the new season comes.
Most probably already tried and stating the obvious but since it happened to my 1x, I share just in case. A few weeks ago, I started to have disconnections just after the races start, like 5s-10s after online race start, found no-one having such issue. Finally I took the risk of the Sync error of Death , I wiped both game and saves, cleaned cache, and reinstalled full game. Once done, issue was gone. I think my game install had got corrupted by a FH update. I see most of you are on PC, may not apply at all but just sharing in case.
This is really frustrating! I have 510 hours but since the eliminator update I can’t finish an online adventure! I keep getting disconnected out of nowhere and the devs doesn’t say anything about it
And I’m not the only one, there’s a couple on the forums and a lot in the subreddit, I can’t imagine how many messages they receive on Discord

why am i being disconnected from half of ranked online adventure races? it started happening yesterday and now its even worse
I’m finishing most ranked adventures but am definitely getting disconnected much more than usual. I’d say normally it’s about 1 in 100 and now about 1 in 10. Was having a good race with a GM earlier and we both got disconnected at about 70% in the last race. Given that was on FFA, not the broken Team, that will no doubt cost me quite a lot of points.
Did many trials on friday-saturday. Got disconnected 4 or 5, maybe 6 times in different moments.
Maybe too many players wants to play and servers are crashing?
i cant get inline onto forza horizon life its been like this for 12 hours , my teredo is all fine ive done the tutorials online to make sure its set up. i just get ‘alert unable to join session’ , i also have no NAT types . ive done literally everything online. im even in a party talking to my mates and have reinstalled the game. if any of you could help it would be appreciated as its genuine account with a lot of hours behind it.
