Can you disable the pace notes (UI icons, not voiceovers) in Rally Adventure?

I only drive from the cockpit in FH4, with all HUD elements disabled (other than lap time and position). I love the look of Rally Adventure and am aware that you can disable the voiceovers, however, I’d like to be able to do it the other way round; ie, keep the voiceovers, but hide the icons. Is that possible?

Just asking as I don’t yet have the game.

Thanks!

Yes, you can disable the pace notes in the hud & gameplay settings while you’re in the Rally Adventure expansion.

Thanks for the reply.

Just to be clear, I can turn off the UI elements (boxes, etc) while keeping the audio cues enabled, correct?

I only ask again as from what I’ve seen in videos, the only options under Pace Notes are On and Off.

That’s a good question. I’m in Rally Adventure right now so I’ll turn them off and see if you still get the audio cues.

Edit: Yes, you still get the audio cues when pace notes are turned off.

Perfect. Thanks for checking!

I wish we could also hide boxes with pinned objectives, popping up on the screen non-stop.

I’ve revisited the Rally Adventure map recently and been quickly reminded why I stopped driving around the Sierra Nueva in the first place (apart from lengthy loading screens). What an annoying, immersion-breaking feature…

And I remember now that the Suggestion Hub thread for an option to disable it was closed by PG because it’s annoying “by design”. I really, really hope that nothing like that is planned for Forza Horizon 6

Just skipped through a few videos, and yeah, that looks absolutely insane.

Totally unnecessary and seemingly almost always on… :slightly_frowning_face:

I wish the weekly seasonal championships on the RA map would occasionally use the rally mode. I enjoyed driving those, but I only did each course once because that’s all you were required to do.

The forced pinned objectives go away permanently once you’ve completed all of the objectives, which can be done in only 2 or 3 play sessions of a couple of hours each.

For me it’s a solution far from ideal

That’s a relief. I was wondering/hoping that might be the case.

Do you have to win every event and three-star all the stunts as well to get rid of it?

In the videos I skimmed through it seemed more like a permanent HUD addition than an occasional pop-up!

For the most part but there are some objectives that are a bit more complex than just completing all races and stunts.

For example, you might be tasked with completing 2 stunts within a fixed amount of time or completing a task within a race.

There’s nothing here that’s overly difficult.
