Can I gift not played Forza Horizon 2 game to a friend?

I’m a PC user. I bought the FH2 and FH3 bundle just in case I ever got an Xbox. But I don’t think I will anytime soon. Could I gift the FH2 to a friend?

I don’t think so. When buying to yourself, the game is added to your account.

When gifting, the user receives a redeemable code.
(Code is region locked and usually redeemable stuff can’t be refunded)

You can try a refund in your purchase though, it depends when it happened. Check Xbox Support.

Check these for gifting:

*The Xbox is worth it for FH2 alone IMO.
