XLR-V, coupe or roadster

Nicknamed the “baby Corvette” by some, it’s easy to see why with its sleek design, and powerful Northstar V8. This is especially true with its V model, being supercharged and producing 443 HP, although paired exclusively with a 6-speed auto. It also features a retractable hardtop roof, making the car perfect for cruises, rain or shine.

XLR-V with a modern resto-mod style wide body option and a Blacking V8 swap would be what this car deserves… underrated car!

Even a V10/V12 swap would be cool, but that’s what the CIEN is for :eyes:

This car has aged so beautifully - I still really want to buy one irl. This and the 05 CTS-V should come back together (and the CIEN) as a trio.

Swaps: Blackwing V8, 2JZ/B58, Huracan/R8 V10, Viper V10, Lambo V12. AWD, RWD. Maybe some cool body mods.

What is going on with all these redirects?

The XLR was a case of great idea but poor execution. The great part is using the Corvette platform to create a flagship luxury grand tourer for the Cadillac brand, but they hobbled it by ditching the Corvette’s reliable and powerful LS small block for the infamous Northstar. I do think if this vehicle is added to the game the 415 hp 6.2L V8 will be available as a swap option, which would make this vehicle much better. If it is listed as a GT Car instead of a Retro/Modern Muscle then I would actually pick this Caddy over European options like the Aston Martin DBS, BMW M8 or Alfa Romeo 8C for racing.

Agreed 100%. The design is incredible but terrible powertrain, guess they were trying to push Northstar and also didn’t want a direct Corvette competitor which is ridiculous. At least in Forza would be able to virtually experience the car with an LS / the new Blackwing given IRL would be insanely expensive to execute properly. I think a V10 would fit it well, too.

I mean why did ManteoMax redirect so many FH6 wishlist suggestions into SHUB?

And why was that topic closed?
