In previous FM and FH games, when tuning the car, you had a power and torque graph for the engine with rpm on the x axis. That’s really valuable. Please bring it back.
Just as the post says. Every recent for the title has had a torque/horsepower graph in the performance/ upgrade menu. This would make tuning gears much easier, and every game before it has had it so I’m not sure why this one doesn’t. It would be a great qol improvement
Its slightly painful having to pull up telemetry while driving to guage optimal gearing. Wouldn’t having a Dyno Graph of HP/Torque make gear tuning more simple and aproachable to new/casual players? Its something I noticed was missing in all previous iterations, but at least they had a dyno graph while upgrading power related parts. Anyone disagree?
Don’t think anyone would disagree. The gear/rpm chart is terrible. Lines don’t seem accurate vs rpms . Wish we had something easier to see and read also showing lines at max torque and hp.
I’d say the chart we have now is sub-ok at best, definitely not user friendly, but you’re right, the red line at the top of the chart is slightly inaccurate I find. Must be a nightmare for someone new to the game to try and figure out.
There shold be an RPM/torque graph, and then two lines representing where the gears would individually land when shifted at redline.
But that’s just my opinion.
Even trying to count the lines to guess the rpm seems impossible. Need a fresh look/ function

A dyno graph would also be useful when modifying engine parts too. I’d like to see what displacement does to the torque curve vs valves, or anything else… camshaft.
Unless they just do some basic +20hp across the entire powerband then I guess it doesn’t matter. But for the transmission, yes 100%.
How is this not included?!?
It’s the most important detail when upgrading of all the detail pages. They could have removed anything else and it would have been less detrimental to tuning the car. This game has always been about upgrading and tuning and now they’ve stripped out the single most important thing you need for power, transmission, gear ratios, everything related to the powertrain of the car.
It’s unbelievable how big the failure bag is that they’re carrying around.
I could also build my own space shuttle and launch my own satellites.
This needs to be in the game. I can’t believe you go through the effort to do this yourself. There’s so many other racing games you can play that do not torture its player base.
I’m gonna challenge that… I kind of doubt you could legitimately build the rockets to launch a satellite…
I have only done it because I wanted to information and couldn’t get it otherwise.

I do think this game needs some quality of life improvements and this is definitely one of them improvements needed.
I would also like to see when choosing a car what tyres are on it and to get the drive type correct.
ATM if you change a drive on a car it still displays the original drive. It’s silly things I know but just makes it frustrating to me.
Just find “a little” odd that power curve is not shown while the player adds parts to the car. E. g. how does addding a turbocharger to an N.A. vehicle will affect its power curve and then what is most appropriate RPM to tune the gearbox for.
