There is allegedly supposed to be a Hybrid (PHEV) version of this vehicle but I can’t find any proof of its existence.
Borgward said it was coming soon after launch but by 2019 it had not yet arrived from the info I can find.
The only mention I can find is of it winning an award but the quoted specs and version are those of the standard Petrol model and far from the ones that Borgward advertised for the PHEV so I’m doubting their legitimacy.
If anyone has any proof of it existing then please let me know and I’ll add an engine option poll.
2016-2021 Borgward BX7, based on the Audi Q5 though i get a slight Porsche Cayenne vibe to it.
Engine options are a 2.0L I4 Turbo PHEV making 176HP (131KW/178PS), a 2.0L I4 Turbo (gas only) making about 225HP (168KW/228PS) and a 2.0L I4 Turbo + electric motor making a total of 401HP (299Kw/407PS)
