BMW M3’ 97 - Inaccurate Car Model

With its updated textures in FH5, the 1997 BMW M3’s car model can fool many. No matter how “good” the textures, the inaccuracy and outdated shape of this particular model gives itself away. The front nose is a start.

It’s such a shame given this is one of the best looking M3s of all time and the E36 M3 happens to be my personal favorite.

The errors of this model are specifically irksome because of how inaccurate they are - given that this model has been in use since FORZA Motorsport 2

The visual errors include inaccurate length and width of the wheelbase, the overly boxy front and rear ends, the inaccurate headlights and taillights, the size of the side windows and the shape of the front hoodline.

On the IRL car, the headlights are slimmer and wider. Their edges are rounded. Its front bumper is not overly boxy, slimmer in height and wider like its headlights, the wheelbase is simply more naturally proportionate in length and width. The lower bumper has clear fog lamps on both sides.

The lowest end of the rear bumper is curved and has flared bits. The rear end is slimmer in height, wider like the rest of the car and has slimmer, wider taillights than FORZA.
Finally, the side windows are slimmer in height on the IRL vehicle.

Just like other BMWs reported - I request to fully rescan and remodel this simplistically beautiful driving machine!
