I mean a E30 model
One more thing this topic is also about the M3 as you can see by the polls ok I am done
I’ve seen a Moderator telling him the same exact thing to stop bringing repeated comments about a certain variant he wanted for a car.
I agree with that. I understand your personal opinion that you prefer the 320is more than M3. Not bad, man. You have a decent choice! And yes, thank you for this lesson.
I know that person from Discord
And as you can see by his profile he is not very active on the forums So don’t expect a reply
But you still need to listen what he said. This isn’t “real life”. This is a game and whatever variation you ask for a certain car isn’t always guaranteed.
This is not a debate about what is better or superior, it’s all about preferences and luckily tastes are different, otherwise we would all be driving and voting for just the same single car. 112 votes on this topic shows that quite a number of people see it similarly.
Having worked at a BMW dealership myself when those cars were sold new I personally prefer the 6 cylinder versions (e.g. 325i) over the M3 though this didn’t prevent me from cheering for the M3’s in the DTM, especially when they beat their arch rivals at the time, the W201 (MB 190).
To bring this back to topic and for those 112+ looking for something other than an M3 how about a 325iX touring (the all wheel drive version as estate)?
And here’s proof of BMW endorsing the Baur TC by including it in their on E30 brochure:
And if you combine the two you get the BMW 325iX Baur TC, an all wheel drive convertible:
That 325XI baur TC looks very interesting and a very cool all round package. I’m gonna have to look into it more
For the more chilled customers who also wanted something economical whilst relaxing BMW introduced the 325e which used a 2.7 litre version of their in-line 6 cylinder engine (the 325i remained at 2.5 litres). The ‘e’ stood for ‘Eta’ as described in the following US ad, it was a very untypical BMW as it only needed low revs and was more aimed at comfort. It didn’t last long.
Far more successful (and fun) was the sporty 4 cylinder E30 for the masses which was sold as 318is in Europe:

Not true at all, this is for the E30 3-Series. The M3 is a part of that.
I totally agree
A 325i Touring would be so nice to have
The increasing number of votes for this topic after posting some non-M3 E30-alternatives seems to indicate there is an appetite for those other versions. So here are the next ones which would fit well into FH games and provide a blank canvas for Forza painters: (Emergency) Response and Special Purpose Vehicles

(E30 on the right in the last photo)
And finally, the 324d Taxi (this photo was staged for a German magazine, most taxi companies prefered the larger 524d instead):
They even built a few EV versions already to evaluate the possibility of an electric BMW in the future:
If they were to add a normal E30 I would like to see the 4 door Sedan since a 2 door Sedan would be too close to the M3
At the same time tho the M3 E30 is a inaccurate outdated car model so a remodeling would be nice
Apparently its confirmed they will update the car model so I guess its just a matter of when
I’d personally love a wagon, this generation in particular looks great and we still don’t have any BMW wagons unfortunately.
Doesn’t have the M3 performance sadly but I wouldn’t mind it getting some of the newer BMW engines as swap options for a sort of Restomod-esque build.
If we got a 325i Touring from this generation with customization to turn it into an E30 M3 Touring, it could be so good
Most people are voting for the 2 door sedan makes me wonder if those that want one actually just want the M3 Sport Evolution(its really not far behind the 325i) and those that want the 4 door Sedan and Wagon want 325i
I honestly wouldnt be surprised to those that want the 2 door Sedan want the M3 Sport Evolution
I am saying 2 door Sedan since back then there were 2 door Sedans they werent Coupés they were actually short wheelbase Sedans
Not bad but a 4 door E30 Sedan isnt bad either
I also wonder why there never was a 4 door E30 M3 Sedan
If there were Convertibles which I doubt competed in Motorsport then why was there never a 4 door M3 E30 Sedan
Might be something do with the fenders as the M3 has wider ones than stock.
For the Convertible they just needed to reinforce the area around the windshield and doors but for a 4dr Sedan they’d need to redesign the door and fender areas to be a bit longer.
